Animated figures are in Alberta too, I just got a Lockdown and deluxe Prowl.

Is it just me the only one who thought "Indiana Jones" instead of Indiana, USA ?

Animated has been found at Wal-Mart in Rancho Cordova, CA (Sacramento) as well. I had to meet up with a fellow collector to get him the Deep Space Starscream I got him yesterday. He gave me a call before we met up to say that he found Animated and was buying all he could for myself and another collector. My haul was:

Voyager Starscream
Voyager Lugnut
Voyager Megatron
Voyager Bulkhead
Battle Begins 2 pack
Deluxe Ratchet

I passed on Black Arachnia. Another collector got the rest - Bumblebee, Grimlock (take that doubters!), Lockdown, Deluxe Prime and Prowl. Pics below (take that again doubters!)

That seller on ebay is a friggin crook but I'm sure someone will buy them for that price.

I've already got the ones I want preordered from HTS and BBTS, but I'll look tomorrow anyway!

San Jose, CA Walmart on Story Road - TF: Animated

I bought one of every one they had this morning but there was more left when I left. No endcaps or fancy displays, just tucked in among the movie-formers.

Today I went to 5 other Walmarts in the east Bay Area, no others had a trace of animated, just the Story Road location.

Not seeing anything in Columbus, GA so far. It'll be nice to see something new. I'm not going to get many of these, but I'll pick up a couple of them.

Update: I went back to the same Walmart at San Jose, CA Story Road later 06/01/08 at around 9:30 Pacific time. I figured there might be something else out due to re-stocking or store recovery.

When I left it was pretty picked over. There were 3 Bulkheads and 1 Starscream left. I searched the other toy sections for mis-placed items, but nothing. I will check again at that location tomorrow.

I was searching everywhere for Lockdown. Nothing yet. I'll post when/if I find him.

I found everyone mentioned at the sightings in Nevada and California. I also found Premium Jazz, Barricade, Optimus Prime and Megatron at Wal-Mart. Here is my proof:

I'm in Florida. I went to two Wal-Marts yesterday after hearing the news....no evidence whatsoever of Animated toys at all. Just Movie repaints all over the place. Then I remembered that I'm in Florida.

So glad I've pre-ordered most of these guys anyways. I have a very strong feeling I won't see any of these toys in my local stores until mid-July at the earliest.

For all the doubters, it is true that WalMart has begun to put out TFA toys. After reading the sightings page last night (1AM) I figured, what the hell I'll roll over right now and check for myself. I got to WalMart and true enough, they had the new TFA toys...just not unpackaged. I asked the person in the toy section if she knew if I could just pick which one's I wanted out of the box (she said no, but she did say she would put them out right now because I asked politely). So I waited patiently and ended up getting:
Grimlock
Prowl
Bumblebee
Ratchet
& Lockdown
I plan on going back this morning and getting Lugnut and Starscream. I'll try to post a pic of my receipt and loot once I figure out how. This is my very first post, but I have been visiting this site off and on for a few years now.

The only Voyagers out at this WalMart were Bulkhead and Starscream. I just need Grimlock and I'm all done.

it is possile they have released early at wal mart,after all i did find bulkhead at kmart in feburary and bought him(check out tfw2005 for my proof or ill post the recipt and pic)

i have yet to check mine out yet but plan to today

I remember that. Was there alot of Bulkheads out or was it just that figure? I remember going to Kmarts to see if I'd get lucky.

just the one and nothing since,must have been a mispick with movie voyagers

Went to a different Wal-Mart in Natomas, CA (sacramento) and the pegs were flowing with deluxe! Tons of voyagers too but the only one I was looking for to complete the first couple waves was Grimlock and sure enough they had him. I'm all done til the next wave! (and Classics 2.0)

From reports I've seen, some of them (like the Nevada sightings) have an endcap or action alley (lane) display on a four sided shelf unit.

Others mention that they're mixed in with Movie toys on the shelves and pegs.

So it's going to take a little extra looking to find them, but they are in that general area, if, your store is stocking them right now. I'd say we'll see full saturation in a month, but reports of sightings nationwide within the next two weeks.

Hey guys my dad just hit a Walmart in Livermore on his way to work and needed to stop and get so guess what he saw! Animated! I asked him to pick up a Ratchet which he currently has in his possesion but they also had Grimlock, Lugnut, Cybertron Prime, Lockdown, Prowl, Blackarachnia, and a few others... They were mixed in with the movie toys. My dad kept saying Salvage and Stockade looked similar to Ratchet over the phone.

So yeah if you're in the Livermore are that's where they are!

All this talk about getting Animated figures makes me feel kinda left out. And I wasn't even planning on buying any until I saw them at Botcon.

Do not feel left out, First gen...so far at this point, there are none in my current region.

No, but I only preordered a handfull, so I'll be on the hunt and wanted any heads-up as to when to really start looking.

seems like the usual west to east coast distribution trail so hopefully we in PA will be seeing these in a week or so. just hope i can save up some money by then.

I can report that they are not out in central Oklahoma, I hit 6 WM with no luck.

Got a report from my best friend in Herculaneum, Missouri that there were TFA figures at the Super WalMart there, but in three hours, their shelves had been raped and pillaged! He had no money on him when he saw them, and ran home to feed his kids and grab some cash to go back and buy what I have on my list, but they were down to the figures I could care less about! He asked the stocker if they had any more in back and the dude just shrugged and walked away..evidently he had been beseiged earlier by screaming plastic-crackheads!

I will be rolling by the WalMart by my house on my way home to peep the toy aisle...maybe I'll get lucky!


EDIT: I checked my local WalMart, which is in the process of being updated to a Superstore, and their toy department is in shambles! Luckily, there was nothing there yet....the toy stock crew told me they have them, but they could not tell me when they could break open the cases!

Found my TFA figs at the Wal-Mart on Bandera Rd. in San Antonio, TX!!

I arrived minutes after they unpacked the cases!! No Grimlock or Lugnut, but just about everything else!!
