If Thrust and Dirge were there too it would be too priceless to see them all doing that.

With Dirge doing the infamous Recoome pose? (facing backwards, bent over at the waist, head seen through legs at about knee height)

But I suppose they already demonstrated with Nightbeat (Cybertronian car to local car and back) and Blitzwing (Abrams to Soviet tank) that the IDW TFs can make minor aesthetic changes to their alt-modes with little trouble.
So maybe they'll go back to their F-22 state after the series.

While I like the art, I don't understand why the IDW alt modes have changed. I thought the idea was to get away from "the norm" in Transformers... this is bringing the animation back to look (now matter how awesome) like the toys.

Megatron's a bucket head but he's cool too.

I noticed that too!
I like it! Good usage of the "old-skool" characterizations!

Thank you for the bounty that is IDW...And to pray for the wonders that is Animated. May you bless thouse nice people who gave me back my faith in the franchise after the movie was a total bummer.

Shane McCarthy (the chap writing it) says there will be an in-story explanation for the redesigns on the seekers.

I love how Skywarp is "cracking his knuckles" what a thug!

That will be interesting!
Looking forward to reading Shane's story, I'm sure it will be great. (I'm not biased because he is an Aussie, no not at all...

While the Raptor is an impressive fighter, I can't say I've liked any of the designs based on it. The robot-modes always look waaaay to bulky to me.
