It seems the final wave may not yet be canceled and we might just be able to obtain these for our collections! Courtesy of fellow fan Daim Choc, sharing a post from another fan, Zang How, we now see the last two new molds of the AoE toyline, in hand and the features of the Vehicon.
We've mirrored the post and a partial collection of the images, below. Click on any of the pictures to see the full pictorial.
We still don't know that these will receive a US release at this time, but we will keep you updated if we receive any more news on these two figures.

I will definitely keep that option in mind, but I'm going to wait and see if HTS gets them in, if possible. If any US retailer would carry the Hasbro version, it'll be them.

I could repaint one myself, but I'm hopeless at painting. I once painted a doghouse for my dog and the ASPCA was all over me. So yeah, let's have these Silver Knights, Hasbro!
How about this monster truck?
At 42cm in height hes a little large but could be another addition to ones shiny collection!

Don't be so quick to say that, we've yet to receive confirmation. High Octane Bumblebee is also part of that wave btw.

That's all we'll get in terms of actual molds for the two, from Hasbro and TakaraTomy. In fact, of the two molds TakaraTomy will release only Junkheap in Transformers Adventures, done in blue and white.

Let me correct myself.
Figures the 2 characters that don't have a trillion billion other toys would end up bundled with a half-dozen characters that do have a trillion billion other toys.
There.

Thanks JelZe.
While I find it disappointing I will try to keep my cynicism in check until I see them "in hand" and hold off on final judgement of these two but I was really hoping that they were going to get a better treatment. Who knows, I may be surprised at the final product.
Although, it does fall in line with the scenario I presented in my first post so its not like this comes as a surprise to me.

Well, that's basically what will happen. :/
Still, Ebay will be so flooded with these, the prices will drop back to normal retail levels and /or the basterds will be stuck with massive overstock.

... although the closest Dollar Tree to me is just out of convenience range. I can get there, but I really don't want to go out of my way if the store doesn't even have them. Besides, I already have the ones I really wanted anyways.

DT normally isn't worth looking into at all because they're the honest dollar store, where everything actually is $1.00. The only interesting TF KOs they ever had were of Cybertron Legends, including Brimstone who I'm not sure got the official treatment. Their only other item of possible interest to our fandom is some "T-BOTS" coloring books, featuring many robots that look vaguely familiar, including a yellow Tracks-ish fellow on the cover.
Some of their stuff doesn't get distributed evenly though. The store on Warren just west of Westland mall had a toyline called "S.T.O.P. vs. S.C.U.M." that I've never seen elsewhere, not even at other Dollar Trees. A cross between G.I.Joe and Mad Max, they all sold out fast except for Lady Lead about 5 years ago. I'll have to stop by and see if she's still pegwarming.
Man, this and yesterday's Vehicon news just keeps giving me renewed hope that Arcee and Chromia might still show up at TJMarshaxx or Tuesday Morning, cheap enough for me to stockpile enough Arcees for all the customs I've wanted to do! Marvel, Blurr prototype colors...

Just on a side note, who came up with the expression, "pegwarming", something about that sounds dirty.

I don't think this one is any indication of distribution issues, since Kreo is dead and done in the US market for now. That's not to say there aren't any, I just don't think this is an example of it due to that factor.
I'm surprised these showed at all! Thought the ship sailed on them months ago in regards to showing up at discount. Happy for those that missed out though, that's for sure.

Kreons retail at $3 a pop, and having no other choice but to import this particular wave was... obviously a lot more. So seeing these for just a buck is pretty amazing. Like "grab the entire box, slam a $20 on the counter, and giddily skip back home" amazing. Wouldn't even care about the lack of codes for that price.

I don't really know one way or the other...I just remember these were due out a long time ago and have been available in other countries for quite a while (I have about for figures from this wave that were sent from Canada). I was just figuring they were supposed to hit the shelves of TRU before the kre-o meltdown happened, but got gummed up somewhere...and then went straight to the liquidators.

To be fair, my post said "Lady-Lead" was pegwarming, which I only now realize has an onion's-worth of layers of wrong in it. I mean, I know lead-poisoning contributed to the fall of the Roman Empire, but maybe it wasn't just from the pipes their drinking water came through...SillySpringer wrote:Moosey wrote:SillySpringer wrote:Wolfman Jake wrote:Thanks, Silly. But yeah, I am more into Lego than Kre-o, Lego has been around longer, so the pieces fit together better.
