Well, the Snarl wave was spotted in Quebec, so I am sure its coming your way soon. Slog and Drift havent been spotted anywhere. Are there any other dinos you never saw?

I saw Legends Tailpipe and Scrapnel at Target 3 days ago. Thought that was an oddity as well.

If you prefer apples but don't like oranges, good for you. However, don't dismiss the fact that many people like oranges and some kind or oranges are better than others.

One step changers arent oranges, they're prunes. Even the kids dont want them. They only get bought when parents buy them as suprise gifts. When the kids get to choose they choose the big boy figures every time.

Prunes, eh? That would explain why it's us old farts who're buying them. Darn whippersnappers don't know a good thing when they have it.Rated X wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Shockwave7 wrote:I donno.... So, no Snarl in that picture too right? How are people faster than us fanboys at picking him up?

Let them have it!
Soon enough, that shayt will be everywhere and those fawkers will have lots of 20$ figures in hand that they wont be able to get rid of.

I'm not saying they don't exist, but I don;t think they're as omnipresent as people like to think.

It is also possible that the Lime Dino just have the short end of the stick in the case ratio.

What is very itneresting is that in Canada, it's a Walmart exclusive for 25$..canaidian! (that's like 22$ US) And it is thus cheaper than buying them individually.
Confirmed. I saw the same thing at my local Wal-Mart today. Some kid was looking at it, but didn't ask his dad to get it.

To buy or not to buy... Hmmm... It's like having one figure for free and the concept of them seem quite nifty...

With that quantity, I really think you can wait for a rebate. Unless grandmothers think it will make a big and impressive gift to their grandkids. The affordability of this pack makes it hard to know if it will shelf warm or not.
Oh and for that previous discussion, Scalpers are real and ever present, especially in my area (Montreal, Qc). There is a big collector base and a lot of activity on the classified adds market. I will often know something has hit the shelves if I see in the classified adds before anywhere else.
Quick story. For some reason, the Silver Knight Optimus and Grimlock 2 pack exclusive at target (the one with deluxe DOTM Optimus and Generations Grimlock) was priced at only 16.99. That's great news to fans. But for the first 2 weeks, I could not find it anywhere. It was in the classified adds (kijiji.ca) selling for 30-40$ but no where in stores. The scalpers had bought them all. Target eventually got more and as I write this, the shelves still have them in stock and at that same crazy price (which means it never was a mistake) so I got my set and the scalpers had to lower their prices. They are probably still stuck with them, which serves them right.
Posted by crimsondeception on November 2nd, 2014 @ 12:50am CDT
In MA, all the Targets are selling them for 26.99. And that's the sale price off 29.99.
I thought it made sense since it was 24.99 gor the voyager and 12.99 for the deluxe...

Know what? At first, I hated the idea of these 1step changers. The early ones were kinda bad too. However, the more they create them, the more they come up with some nifty ideas that end up with some cool results! I'd never thought I would say this, but I'm looking foward to see what will they come up next.
I really think that wave 1 was done rather quickly to ensure shelf placement. After that the designers probably said, "How can we have fun with this?" I'll say it now, 10 years from now people will be hot for these.

I'm thinking Snarl's the most wanted of the wave. Bee was already in that evolution set, and I don't expect Hot Shot/Tracks/blue version of a shelfwarmer has much appeal, whereas everybody wants Snarl to complete their Dinobots set... and because Stegosaurus is the best dinosaur ever!

Yeah, it really blows when Hasbro can't put figures on the shelves of TRUs, Wal-Marts, and Targets.

You can tell you have no children or a clue what they like. Children love the one steps. Much more than the other figures. Because they are easy to transform. See, when children pretend to be Optimus, they don't want it to take 20-30 min to transform it, like it does with Voyagers. As a matter of fact I would go as far as to say Hasbro saved this line with the introduction of the one steps and quick change transformers. Because at the current price point, character selection, and shoddy construction of the current generations line it would have been dead in the water by now.

I dont think my Walmart will see that wave anytime soon. In any case, speaking of one step changers and retail, I visited my local canadian walmart to find that they lowered their price on One Step Changers from 11.82 to 7.97. It's not a sale but a price reduction instead.
Oh and they reduced the price of generations figures to 10$ as well.
