I was all excited until I realized they don't allow coupon stacking. For a $30 figure, it's basically the same price with free shipping vs 20% off and paid shipping.

Definitely. I finally decided to pull the trigger on TLK voyager Megatron and just bought it solo. I was going to add on a few other figures to get free shipping, but at the end of the day, decided to show some self-constraint and not stray too far from what I collect. I was going to add RiD Skywarp and Stormshot, but decided against it since I don't collect RiD.

What happened to HTS? Usually this time of year around SDCC we get 15-20% off almost everything in the store AND free shipping. It's hard to forget that when every year you have people complaining about the discount not being good towards exclusives. This year we're only getting the free shipping and the 20% off discount is only towards back to school stuff. I've been holding off on buying some stuff waiting for the discount, but I guess I'm better off getting what I want at Amazon.

There's a bunch of Transformers that would be considered to be on clearance on the site, but for whatever reason Hasbro doesn't have them in the clearance section.

They also brought back free shipping on orders $49 and up which they didn't have for the last sale. :roll:

Not a huge deal, but a few 3P sellers on Amazon are offering TR Blitzwing and Octone at MSRP. But since it's not directly from Amazon, you don't have to pay tax. Even without Prime I believe you'll qualify for free shipping. This works for me since I'm waiting on TR Overlord from BBTS before I ship my POL. At least I don't have to wait for these 2 figures. (I also ordered a TLK wave 3 Bee direct from Amz so don't have to hunt that down!)

Thanks to an email from HasbroToyShop, we have news that the shop is currently offering 20% off all figures that are classified as playsets. This deal applies to several transformers products, chief among them Titan Class Trypticon, who is currently not in stock but may come back in stock during the deal time. There are various Rescue Bots products also included in the deal. The deal runs through September 24, so hurry up and see if there are any playset figures that you would like to pick up on a deal!

For serious if I check this weekend and they actually have a new wave of Deluxes, I'll probably pick at least one up after all. Crosshairs/Bee hopefully if we're up to Wave 3 (which I highly doubt), I suppose Sqweeks if there's only Wave 2. But of course, this is all wishful thinking anyway; maybe I'll avail myself of the deal to finally see what the fuss is about with Barricade...

I think Australia had a similar thing probably. They sent me an email Thursday morning with the subject line "[Qwan], at 6pm tonight, we're doing something we've never done before." Gee thanks for elaborating. Didn't even say what it was in the actual email, just that they're turning 18 (in Australia) and to join the celebrations at 6pm, plus a bunch of uplifting(?) eBay statistics.

Naturally I totally forgot by that evening and only remembered the next morning, when there was not a trace of a single special deal or anything to be found. (A search reveals that it was 18% off $75+ purchases sitewide, which I suppose is kind of cool, but really - 18%? Wow that $100 Transformer is only gonna be $82 now this is amazing. :roll:

) Why they didn't mention what the actual sale was in the email is beyond me; actually knowing what I was waiting for would've helped me to wait for it without forgetting.

I usually find out about these eBay flash sales from another TF site. Interestingly no one posted it and I actually found out from a Voltron site I randomly checked. So yea I agree the advertising for it isn't great.

Soundwave is part of the line they've been doing of ornaments based on the G1 figures. They've also done Optimus, Megatron, and Grimlock.

This first try at a comic style Optimus isn't very good.

I was at ToysRUs today and saw that they had a few items on sale, and checked out their website for the current catalogue... it's only three Transformers items though (on page 14).

Allspark Tech - $30 (save $5)
Allspark Tech starter pack - $60 (save $10)
Leader - $80 (save $10) (the current Kmart sale has them for $65, so it is best to get TRU to price match that lower price on the Kmart website)

Also, the website notes that they currently have 25% off their clearance items, so if your store has any older Transformers items with clearance tags, you can get an extra 25% off the price (probably some conditions on the website).

Target AU - Sale until October 11

The current Target toy sale catalogue has four Transformers items on sale, and it ends October 11th.

Target (US) has a toy sale. $10 off $50 or $25 off $100. I used it to finally jump on the Metal Defender set, which I believe is a Target exclusive. Regular price is $70. They have it discounted to $65, so $55 after stacking with this current sale, before tax of course. For reference, the individual figures are about $15, so $75 if all bought separately. A decent deal IMO.
