2 Shorts for Transformers Animated Series Finally Released

What is this? I'm watching!

Just watched starscream's fantasy. AMAZING!

The second was a great double reference too

Interesting. Both Keyan and fellow YouTuber PaperPlane were given these two shorts by Marty Isenberg, but both promised not to make them public without Marty's permission, who likewise kept them from public viewing in lieu of an official release by Hasbro. I guess things changed.

Previously, these two shorts were only ever screened by Derrick J. Wyatt at BotCon 2009 and BotCon 2012.

Ah, it's good to see more content for TFA. This show deserved much better than it got, and they were treated pretty shabbily by Hasbro and CN. They devoted little to no attention to promoting the series, they moved it around constantly, then whined and complained about 'low ratings'. And in the end, they dumped it just so it wouldn't 'distract' anyone from the latest Bayverse movie. In terms of quality and heart, TFA was far superior to the formulaic cinema claptrap.

The figures for the series were fun and interesting, the TV episodes were new, but still nostalgic. Even now, it still rates as one of the best TF series in recent history. They really need to bring this show back and carry on the story lines which were just getting revved up when they cancelled unjustly.

I'm not the biggest fan of Animated for no reason in particular, but theese videos were so fun. Even if the second was really cringe, they were very enjoyable.

This is a thorough-researched documentary covering the entirety of what could have been, what might have been, and what definitely was NOT going to be, for Transformers Animated Season 4:

Keyan Carlile has made a second lengthy video covering the never-made Animated Season 4:



He made this in response to a whole slew of new information having come to light in the time since he made his previous Animated Season 4 video above.

Some interesting possibilities there. Especially the Minicon concepts.

Earlier this month at TFCon LA 2024, Transformers Animated scholar Keyan Carlile played host to a very special celebratory panel that covered a wide array of deleted scenes that had been written for and cut from many episodes of Transformers Animated. Also hosting the panel were lead writer Marty Isenberg, lead toy designer Eric Siebenaler, Transformers archivist Jim Sorenson (co-author of the AllSpark Almanac books), and Optimus Prime voice actor David Kaye.

During this panel, a live presentation was given for each deleted scene discussed, in which nearly all of them had been newly animated and voice-acted specifically for this occasion, albeit with animation created by Keyan himself and most of the dialogue provided by soundalike voice actors (David Kaye and Corey Burton were the only show cast members that Keyan had been able to get back to reprise their roles for these scenes).

The panel also goes into several characters that were cut from the show as well, including some that could have made it into the show's never-made fourth season.

Interesting stuff. I heard about that Beachcomber scene years back. Nice to actually see it animated.
