Glad to hear about the sequels! I do believe that Peter Cullen is already under contract for 3 films.

Oh, not that old Galvatron crack. That old bad twist is in every series sace for Beast Wars/Machines. Keep it away from the movie.

Characters I would like to see in either of the sequels:

-Wheeljack
-Grimmy
-Soundwave (already a potential)
-Shockwave (same there)
-Brawl's fellow Combaticons! At least that'll give the fanboys a better Swindle.

I seriously doubt they hired Weaving instead of Welker to voice a main character with only 10-15 minutes of footage before killing him off entirely. It may appear that Megs is dead at the end of this movie, but there's no way he will be. He's probably physically destroyed, which of course will make sense for him to take an Earth mode in Part 2.

In fact, I anticipate ALL the characters that aren't killed off in this movie getting revisions & tweaks for each of the sequals. If they didn't, it would be awefully hard to sell toys that everyone already has from this movie.

As for new characters, I bet it will be a small handful of recognizable names mixed with entirely new ones. And considering the direction they took with this movie in terms of character selection & design, I think people who somehow still believe they're going to introduce new leaders like Galvatron, Ultra Magnus and/or Rodimus Prime are seriously deluded or being intentionally clueless for the sake of fandom. These guys aren't following G1 at all - I don't know how much more obvious it needs to be. And things like a Nemesis Prime or Dinobots, etc.? You have got to be kidding.

But I don't want any more of these "movies." I don't even want this one. What happened to all the people not wanting this film? Or realizing how under (and somehow over) designed the characters are? Did we forget about the football routine that defeats Megatron? What about Bumble-pee? What about "A story about a boy and his car?"

I like Transformers. This is not Transformers. This isn't even Go-bots.

This is Rocklords.

Can't we talk about how cool Music Label Soundwave is? He's pretty darn cool.

If they do two sequals, there better not be any Prime killing. If they do kill Prime, it better be like Jack Sparrow and just have him die, but be brought back.

Sequal will also have to have Unicron. Seriously, how sweet will it be to see Unicron just hovering close by to Earth. It would be pretty sweet.

I got some ideas for sequels how about throwing in Alpha Q and Rodimus from Energon and doing that Unicron deal put some more humans from the cartoons in in like Micschea, Kicker, Alexis, Rad, Carlos, Bud, Coby and Lori in it. Or how about a thing on the mini-cons or the start of construction on Autobot City but do it like Star Wars Episode III style. Also throw in Metroplex and Trypticon the Sweeps have Megatron get upgraded to Galvatron and do the Combining thing like in Energon. What bugged me most about the cartoon series is why is it none of the Decipticons cant combine or is that they dont choose to or need to.

Omega Supreme
Scourge
Ravage
Hot Shot
Red Alert
Hound
Cliffjumper
Gears
Hoist
Grappler
Jetfire
Skyfire
Ultramagnus
Buzzsaw
Ratbat
Rumble
Shockblast
Elita-1
Thundercracker
Arcee
Hot Rod
Rodimus
Devestator
The Dinobots
The Aerieal Bots
The Technobots
Computron
Ramjet
Dirge
Thrust
Blitzwing
Astrotrain
Shockwave
Reflector
Soundwave
Blaster
Sideswipe
Sunstreaker
Mirage
Trailbreaker

I hope they put in some Dinobots.....& to be perfectly honest, I think I might have figured out a believable way they could handle creating them.....if they can make a transformer out of anything just by giving some electronic or mechanical object a "spark".... give some to some anamatronic Dinosaurs. Don't know if people would think it's silly or not, but my guess is if they went from there & just had them being somewhat terrifying & then start playing enforcer beating the sh*t out of the decepticons, nobody will think it to be too cornball.

Spoilers from the Script wrote:Football doesn't defeat Megatron. It gets him out of the way. Megatron is defeated by having a lethal beam shot at his spark, by Sam, from the Allspark.

Well, let's look at the title...

Oh, 'cause it's liscenced by Hasbro.

I absolutely abhor (look it up, kids) people that use material objects to imply there narrow minded views on others...

The Transformers Trilogy;

BB to Megs: 'Optimus told me you murdered my father (alphatrion)'
Megs to BB: 'No....I am your father'

there's your emotional storyline.... :gasp:

Man, Sci-Fi is saving up for Go-Bots so they can make them fight yet another giant snake, but this time it'll be on a submarine.

That should make for a nice twist!

Wow...Rodimus2006...no. The people in those imported crappy series were terribly annoying. I think that Sam and Mikaela will be quite enough. And that means no Chip Chase, either! I'd like to see Grimlock, but I doubt he'll be a dinosaur if he's in the sequels at all. Jetfire would be awesome, though!

Mkay. Here's how I'd have Nemesis Prime for the THIRD movie (Soundwave in the second). Some kind of evil entity, kind of like The Allspark's evil counterpart, takes control of Prime's corpse (yes, in my trilogy I'd have Prime die in 2 so we can bring him back for 3).

It names itself "nemesis prime." He takes command of the Decepticons from Galvatron (nemesis prime is much more powerful) and has a climactic battle with Rodimus Prime. Right as nemesis is to kill Rodimus, Prime's spark takes control of his body, purges the Omegaspark (like the name? :-P ) and kills Galvatron. Prime returns to command as Autobot leader and the universe lives happily ever after.

No to Prime's death. Period. Not only because he's freaking Optimus Prime, but because its cliche and no fun. Why make someone die...and then bring them back? That makes their death pointless. And Rodimus Prime is just a screw-up, so he should just...not show up. Ever.

Just because Rody isn't mellowed Duke in robot mode? amirite? Seriously, it's been 22 years, get over it. Prime dies, just like everyone else. It's not like he's Primus or something. Rodimus atleast has a personality, abeit something unheard of at the time, someone getting used to their job and new reponsibilities, Optimus Prime is nothing outside some catchphrases, a nice guy "daddy" persona and a look.

Well, seeing as how Prime's death was pointless, with the exception of selling new toys, I don't see anything to get over. I'm all for character flaws, but not, "Meh, I'm Rodimus...I can't do anything right...let's bring Optimus back." That, and I don't understand why people want Prime to die and come back. What's the point of that?

Oh, no. Sounds like this will be another crummy trilogy where the second movie is unresolved and you HAVE to go see the third. Not that I probably would pass on the third movie, but I hate movies like that--Pirates and the Matrix both did that and I think they could have been better.

SO Nemesis Prime would basically be G1's zombie Prime? Na...being that this is movies, & in movies, I'd say if they're going to kill Prime, keep him killed....but do it in the very last movie.....& if they're going to replace him with Rodimus, have him in the series far enough ahead of time that we don't have another "Hi, I'm the new guy, & I'm gonna be the new leader, after I screw up & get the current one killed, that is" introduction. I think they should even have some underlying comments thrown in here & there from Optimus about how is grooming Rodimus for replacement.

While I have never agreed with the designs for the movie robot heads, after buying toys, seeing the trailers, reading some of the children's material they have released, I think what they are doing will be a nice new universe for transformers--the movie universe.

I want it to go its own direction from anything we've seen now as far as cartoons. The designs already do that, the characters while recognizable in some traits or design do not match any of the previous series in all ways (design, character, personality, etc.).

I would think that a movie that uses anything like minicons, Energon combination or planet keys, the Rodimus Prime/Magnus leadership passing, the death of Prime, as more than a throwaway easter egg (Scorponok is close to a minicon type being), is not in line with Bay's and Spielberg's vision. They are creating their own version of Tfs, artistic license, etc., so they can change and create things that help them to tell what they want to tell. They are not looking to recreate a previous series, but a 'real life' telling.

I want to see the first one before I start saying what they could do in the second and third. We know they will add some characters, it's the way of the sequel, and there very well could be some bigger overall problem, but since they started with such a small amount of characters, I doubt they are all the sudden going to go nuts and throw in all the other characters that haven't been used, as more than easter eggs, background, or flashback type things.

There is probably some plan about the future releases already, but they are most likely not fleshed out in any way, and could be easily changed.

I don't mind them having their own movie-verse, as long as it does things for collectors like allowing for more TF merchandise related to the general TF franchise, and as long as it does not leak its way into the sort of design asthetic that has been characteristic to vintage TFs for years. In other words, in the comics ala X-Men not everyone needs to wear leather costumes, become gritty, bitter, etc.

I don't want the movie designs to change IDW's designs for the G1/BW comics they have going on...I don't want bird like robot mode faces, or bug like faces on my TFs, keep them humanoid.

As far as toys, Wreckage is a good example of a movie toy that should be how the line goes forward... (he's not in the movie so the design reflects more of a Cybertron line kind of continuation in design, but with very realistic cool Earthy alt mode).

But I want to see this movie first!!!

Hey, as long as movie Unicron isn't a giant cloud, I think a lot of fans will accept it.

One thing a sequel could do that might be a lot of fun would be looking at how the Autobots fit into the world now that they're known... because, just from the trailers, nothing short of a flashy-thing from Men in Black is going to cover them up. The cartoon kinda hedged back and forth with it, where all the governments of the world agree to help the Autobots, but then you kept getting different eps with the shocked, "Hey, wait! No one's DRIVING those cars!" moments.

There are a lot of different directions you could take things in with that. There's bound to be a lot of malice, but I could also see a Sunstreaker or Tracks type character become a sort of rock star among the Autobots. You could have some Autobots pulling the "I want to hide from the war" attitude, too. The biggest advantage of the sequel is, the first movie establishes the Transformers, so there would be more time for character development in the second.

And the sequel needs Skids. Okay, so that's NEVER going to happen. But it's an amusing though, anyway.

I really doubt he would change much. Given his scale, a "real life" alt mode is out of the question, so that shouldn't be a restriction, not to mention he'd probably fall into the catagory of "characters that should remain recognizable" like Prime & Jazz, & Soundwave(provided they make him "right" like what they keep claiming to be doing. If I were to guess, were he made he wouldn't look much different....possibly a bit more angular....a bit more scrap-metally....but not too terribly different.

Besides, it would look awsome to see him live-action annihilate half a continent just by raking his hand across the planet's surface.

Im thinking that if the sequels are made, they might be done "in the near future" where Autobot technology helps advance human development so much as to start interstellar travel. In other words, Transformers in Space. It allows new characters to be added, and new toys to be made for the existing characters.

Of course I expect Cybertron to appear in one form or another throughout the trilogy, whether in the dormant planet state, or even the Allspark returning to it to activate Primus to battle Unicron or something.
