Our good friend Jim Sorenson contacted us to let us know of some new character models you can find on his Disciples of Boltax
blog. This time, an Apache helicopter from Masterforce is featured.
Courtesy of his blog, we'll let Jim explain the models further for you.
Well, after three weeks (and eight pages) of Webworld, it's time for a change. I figured I'd get away from the US cartoon and look eastward. (Technically, it's more west for me since I'm in California, but, whatever.)
Masterforce! Masterforce was known for its heavy use of humans. That extends to the model packs as well. When the Destrons begin to make their presence on Earth felt, the military might of the Earth was turned against them ... to little effect, of course. Still, the brief combat gave us some gorgeous models, including this Apache helicopter.
It's actually quite break from the futuristic aesthetic of 2010 and Headmasters, much like the rest of the setting of Masterforce. It's also interesting how detailed they made the models. At seven drawings, that's as many as we get for almost any alternate mode. You don't see me complaining, anyway! Hope you enjoy!

The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.
These are some of those stories. This is:
It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. Botcon 2010. According to the hint, found in Transformers Timelines #4, Wings of Honor, it states:
"Next year, at Botcon 2010, the Transformers will revisit a generation many thought was lost and a battle for the future will begin."
Generation lost? Or even unknown? Generation Two anyone? Let your speculative minds abound and tell us what you think by clicking

IDW Publishing Editor Chris Ryall has posted an update to his personal blog
Ryalltime regarding the latest releases to be shipped by the comicbook producing company.
It looks like the recent holiday, coupled with other shipping delays, may postpone the release of the highly anticipated second book of the Transformers Ongoing Series until December 16th 2009. According to the post, only the west coast of the United States should be affected by this delay, but a poster in the comments section did note that this delay may affect the entire U.S.

Transformers 'Ongoing' is continuing as scheduled.
Newsarama has gotten the scoop and offers a 5-page preview of the
2nd chapter of the series. In addition to the drastic change in aesthetics to many characters, more have been re-established within 'Ongoing'. Notables are Blurr, who no longer takes the form of the Blurr we saw in his IDW Spotlight, but more of the Blurr that was in Animated. Another change would have to be Jetfire, who looks unfamiliar with a bulkier form.
The covers, description and one page can be sampled below.
Transformers #2
Mike Costa (w) • Don Figueroa (a) • Figueroa, Andrew Wildman (c)
“Things Fall Apart,” Part 1: After the shocking events at the end of last issue, the AUTOBOTS are in total disarray. An unexpected leader rises, and unlikely alliances are made as writer Mike Costa and superstar artist Don Figueroa continue their era-defining run!
FC • 32 pages • $3.99
The rest can be seen at your own discretion
here. Transformers 'Ongoing' #2 is set for release on news stands on
December 9. Till then...
