Thanks to TFW 2005 member
Autobreadticon, we get our first public look at medical officer and surgeon,
Red Alert, from the new Transformers Animated Comic that is included with the Jetfire and Jetstorm two-pack of toys.
The toy two-pack has seen release in parts of the world, and teh accompanying comic features many characters that should be a part of the Season 3 cartoon as well.
TFCC members have also had the privilege of seeing Red Alert, and the other members of her team in the newest issue of the club magazine which focuses on the next season of Transformers Animated characters, and the creators of the series.

Seibertron.com member Ultra Computron has just informed us of some great news regarding the highly anticipated Spotlight: Jazz Comic book that is in the works. Here's what he had to share:
WARNING. Some plot SPOILERS for Spotlight Jazz.
The March solicitations are up for IDW's March books. In them you will find some BIG (or should I say, "GIANORMOUS") news for anyone that's a fan of TRANSFORMERS: Mosaic.
Transformers Spotlight: Jazz
Josh van Reyk & Shaun Knowler (w) • E.J. Su (a) • Su, Andrew Griffith (c)
Stranded, outgunned and outnumbered, AUTOBOT special operative JAZZ will need every bit of his training if he is going to make it out of this one alive! As things go from bad to utterly hopeless, what chance do JAZZ and his (unwilling) compatriot have, when they’re being tracked by the DECEPTICONS’ most ruthless warriors – THE PREDACONS?
Did you catch those writers? Congrats Josh and Shaun! (And a special shout out to Mosaic contributor Andrew Griffith for snagging a cover!) Also, on the IDW forums, editor Denton J. Tipton posted this:
..speaking of announcements, the colorist of the cover will also handle the interiors. After doing such a great job on the cover, Priscilla Tramontano has been hired to also do the interiors.
Priscilla has been an assistant for the talented Marcelo Matere, so you know she's got the goods.

A big congratulations as well to TRANSFORMERS: MOSAIC members Josh and Shaun from the Seibertron.com family. It's about time!

Thanks to Dr Lee and Shinobi Rendar for letting us know that the cover of the new Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie prequel comic is now online on the official Comic News International site.
On top of the returning cast from the first Transformers movie, the cover, by artist Josh Nizzi, also features the vehicle modes of the newest Autobots (with the exception of Jetfire, the SR-71 Blackbird) - they are: Sideswipe (the silver Corvette Centennial), Skids (Green Chevrolet Beat), Arcee (3x motorbikes), an unknown red Chevrolet Beat as well as what appears to be the purple Chevrolet Volt.
ROTF: Alliance issue #4 will be released in March 2009. See the cover
by clicking here.

The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.
These are some of those stories. This is:
It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

So much anticipation and waiting has gone into this long awaited story arc, it's no surprise that everyone wants to know what's going to happen.
Comic Book Resources got a chance to talk with Transformers writing master, Simon Furman, and poked to get more good spoilers out of the author from the upcoming
MAXIMUM Dinobots comic series. Remaining true to his tease but don't spoil modus operandi, Mr. Furman gave some info that doesn't kill the story, but may make alot of readers happy.
“You really can just pick up issue #1 and jump right in,” Furman confirmed. “Everything you need to know is right there in the five-issue series. Honest.”
This comment comes from the question of where this story arc ties into. Yes the ground work was laid in various Spotlights such as
Shockwave and
Grimlock, but this series can stand on its own for those of us who didn't get into all those prior arcs.
If you didn't already know, MAX Dinobots hit comic store shelves today.

here.

Shane McCarthy, the writer of
IDW Publishing's series All Hail Megatron, has updated his blog
SMAcTALK with an update on his character DRIFT.
Drift was a character I cooked up (with design by Guido Guidi) so it’s a lot of fun to shed some light on just who he is and where he came from.
The initial spark (pardon the pun) for Drift’s creation came about due to two things. Firstly I wanted a character in AHM that had a particular element to him that I didn’t see readily available elsewhere and secondly because, frankly, I thought it would be a great idea for Hasbro to have an Autobot Drift racer.
Shane also reveals that the covers for Issue #10 have been completed, and posts up the two All Hail Megatron #6 Drift covers that have been
reported on earlier.
