TitanXP's Bio
Before the Great War set in, An idea had been pitched out. The City Guardians Were great for their range, but what about the areas between them? Did they need so much protection? The Answer? A nearly evenly divided "yes" But a small force of large Jet Guardians were built. The project proved to not be nearly as needed as thought. Several issues arose, including the size of the area they protected. In order to be effective, the area they covered was too small for them to economically fly. It wasa stressign alerons and burning fuel too fast. To compensate, the easy road was to widen the area. This only lead to harder areas to patrol. To make them smaller would crimple the fighting ability. And rather than reaseargch it, thwe plan was dumped. And the fighter guards were allowed to take up cibvillian lives. Most rejoined the city-state guards. Some, liek Jetfire, resorted to science. Then there's Titan...
Strange Titan decided to take off after individual traitors. No one's sure where he got his wicked streak. Some say he just hid it well. Others will say he was an experiment to the Robo Smasher that won out. One thing's for sure, he's not telling.
Titan simply vanished from legitimate life after the Releasement. We do know that he semi-illegally came by several weapons and armor upgrades, and purchased a junker of a shuttle that he turned into a masterpiece. The next time anyone saw him, he had shown up at a Security Precinct ran by the then terrirorial Sherriff Checkpoint dragging a much uncontious and moderately damaged criminal considered a threat. Obviously, he was not. Titan only stuck around long enough to collect the bounty and check out the wanted bullitens. I never did it for the money, all that was for was to support his basic needs: fuel, weaponry, upgrades to stay modern.
TitanXP stands at roughly twice the height of the average Autobot. This heigt was handy for intimidation, but not so talas to prevent his entry into most buildings. In his Jet mode, a high power machine gun sitts under his nose. Two missile launchers are mounted on top and below of his wings. These fgire a variety of missiles, from Stasis Nets to sludge. He's used concussion shells and smoke to knock down a target and clog up their intakes, and sharpnel flak shells to take them off as table guard. His primary gun in RObot moxde is that from the nopose of his jet, amd can be fired as a sniper or set to wide range machine gun. He takes great pride in his aim. Additionally, he has four Scramjet engines allowing him to reach hypothetical speeds of up to Mach 30. The entire body is solidly made out of a tough, bnearly resitant armor. So much so that the wings can be repatedly used as a blast shield and still fly right. The jet cokpit is also heavily armored, and he uses it as a shield, as another firing gun using small turrets around the cockpit, and as a bludgeoning tool. It generaly stays on his back in civillian settings to free up his other hand. In jet mode, the undercarraige is lined with clamps to cartry larger captives back to the shuttle. There;'s also a small cargo bay used to take Arog with him. he can escape Gravity, but prefers to use a shuttle to do this. To save himself wear and tear, he prefers to spiral up to the smallest Diameter of the planet and rise oaway form the planet than to pucnch straight up. He also carries a shield grid spreader in Jet mode that allows him to sneak in and out of energy grids. by creating a caccoon around him, with aminiscukle point on the end that rapidly matches the shield 's energy. Teh traget thwen wraps around Titan's energy caccon, reads the power off the caccon as it's own, causong it to think it;s still a complete connection, then slides off the trailing point to come back together. So far, it's got about a 90% success rating.
very little of Titan is weak. But he has a stubborn terndancy to continue a mission in spite of his own injury. This was the case that led Argo to join him. Only when he physically cannot complete it or lacks the proper materials to do it will he shelve the case. But as soon as he's ready, he'll go at it again guns ablazing. His jet requires on-board supplies of Oxygen, or at the least convertors to powwer his engines. Teh shield spreader only works in Jet mode and requires him to be moving fairlty quickly. any oblong shapes along the bottom that might obscure the energy caccoon could disrupt his leaving.
