I thought the Autobots (all of them) pretty much acted poorly in this episode.
I mean... think about it. These poor 'bots just came on line are about as defenseless (mentally) as children. Look how easily they were manipulated, etc., as they were not taught anything.
Bulkhead does the right thing by bringing them back to the Autobot base... and what does Prime do? Throw them out on the street.

And then, right AFTER they've had their memories wiped, Bulkhead decides to act like a mean brute in front of them (yea, that's going to give the 'bots a healthy first image of the Autobots). Still they don't try to help them, they just let them loose on the planet.
