Filling out there SS and Generations pegs for once would be nice. Also I'm fully decided. I know I have a good deal on Amazon, but if I do happen to see them in person first, I'm just going to get them and cancel my amazon pre-order.

Also darn those new MOTU figures for giving me major nostalgia feels. :(

You'd think, with how poorly Arcee was received in Earthrise, they wouldn't want to release her again so soon. Wheeljack is another odd choice. There are tons of him clogging shelves at Walmarts, though they probably didn't know that would happen when the Kingdom waves were set up.

There isn't.
It's been officially nixed by Hasbro?
There wasn't one to begin with. Netflix Wave 3's Voyagers are Optimus Primal and the Sparkless Seeker.

There's a redeco of Dinobot as BW Grimlock coming up, in a 2-pack IIRC. I can't keep track of anything anymore 8-}
Not in the Netflix line, at least. That's either a Selects or some other exclusive.
I said Netflix but I was really curious about getting another version of Dinobot in any line. But if Hasbro hadn't even mentioned it I guess were not getting one.

So far Grimlock (in a 2-pack with Earth mode Sideswipe as an Amazon exclusive) is the only repaint that's been mentioned.

Is there even plans for a fourth Netflix line? 3 seasons, 3 waves, it feels pretty complete now.

There's no apparent plans for a fourth wave. If anything we'll get another Netflix series for Post-WFC because they're cheap to make (and we got the also-cheap Prime Wars series before WFC).

There was no Netflix Dinobot, that was something people kept wishing for and created in their minds as a guarantee. That said, we only know half the Selects of this year (going by when orders go up, not when they release); we're not even halfway through 2021 and the last two unrevealed Selects are Toy Galvatron and Artfire. There's definitely more that aren't leaked but are likely in a different department than the leakers.

What we actually need is a pic of him and Rodimus Prime standing straight up, and side by side (also a better height comparison of Rodimus Prime). That is what will determine whether they're worthwhile, or whether one or even both is/are a worthless waste of money, development time, and plastic that needs to be scrapped and redone. Galvatron could turn out too big, but at least in his case there's the Titans Return figure. If Rodimus (who has no such fallback) turns out too small, which that comparison with the undersize WFC Optimus (who everybody is too dazzled by the looks of IMO) has me worried might be the case the case... I'm going to be pissed.

That's just the impression you have based on what you heard in our small geek echo-chamber. Like for Optimus Prime, Hasbro looked at the sale charts and found it wise to re-release them both.

I lumped them into the same grey area as Thrust and Runabout were in Earthrise. I believe T-Wrecks and Road Rage are both supposed to be Target exclusives, with T-Wrecks being a Redcard.

For future Selects, I'm REALLY pining for a Nightprowler from Cheetor.

I actually really liked the titans return Galvatron.... but I've never been so eager to toss a toy in the bin in my life. Seriously, I need this Galvatron. C'mon Hasbro, go ahead and drop the official images already, its already been spoiled so you might as well.

There's something about the head that I don't love.
Honestly, the Titans return figure was so close to being great. It was just ruined by the stupid gimmick of the pop up facemask headmaster, and the insistence that all Voyagers at the time be some kind of triple changer.
This does look better. A light up cannon would be awesome, but I'm afraid we're years beyond that ever happening again.

I'm going to tell you right now so that you're not disappointed.
Rodimus is a voyager class figure being sold at the commander class price point. Yes, he has his little pop up base that will never be used, but they're pulling the ol' "throw some extra crap in the box so we can up the price point" crap on us.

So no matter how he scales, he'll be a rip off. We're being sold a $30-$40 toy for $90 to $100.

In a way, it's our fault. We bought into the small deluxe Hot Rot being sold at the voyager class price. And as good as the figure is, it still has some flaws, but they packed in a Matrix that can't be put in his chest and a pizza cutter, so now you're paying $10 extra.

The Galvatron will be a voyager class figure sold at the leader class price point, using the justification that he comes with two space ship guns or whatever.

Dude, it is no longer about size classes. It’s price points. The engineering, transformation, and parts count on Rodimus will be way higher than a normal voyager. Same with the SS Hot Rod. No deluxe has that level of transformation. At least not in the last 10 years. Also, Rodimus has barely any hollow bits. If you still don’t think it’s worth it, that’s fine, but Hasbro isn’t “ripping us off.”

It's not that big of a deal to wait four more years for a good Galvatron figure, I've lost count of the years waiting for MP Galvatron XD

If this one isn't to my liking when better pictures are out then I'll probably hunt down the toy color reissue during the wait for a must have Galvatron. I can't see me liking the selects version if the Kingdom one looks to be off in a lot of areas but who knows.

So they thought to give a figure with a signature Cannon on his arm, Two weird "rifles". That bare a passing resemblance to both, his starship and that gun the G1 Megatron toy had. Yet, in spite of all this nostalgia milking and the fact that he really never used anything beyond his cannon in the Movie/show. He doesn't come with the rifle the original figure did :-?

Personally hoping for him from either Cheetor or Tigatron in the MP line. A redeco of Tigatron would look really nice and compliment the Shadow Panther that exists alongside Cheetor.

Not to mention Arcee in Earthrise seemed to be pretty hard to find. I ordered her online and I never saw her in store. Although now I wish I had waited because I love the Box Art on Kingdom.

There's way too much salt in this thread, is this the new Unicron thread? I loved the Prime Wars trilogy, but I'm a sucker for play features and ease of transformation, where most collectors want pretty robots that look like the cartoon. Now here we are with Kingdom and SS86, with the most screen-accurate likenesses that Generations has ever seen, and there's still plenty to complain about. Maybe I'm just an easy mark, every figure they release I'm like, I love it, best toy ever, gimme.

Fist Look at Kingdom Leader T-Wrecks in Alt Mode and Galvatron's Rail Gun

Postby william-james88 » Mon Mar 22, 2021 9:20 am

A small image popped up online. There is no specific source found for it yet but we wanted to share it with you. In the image we see many unreleased figures in the background including 2 T-Wrecks toys and Galvatron. Galvatron can be seen with the two Revenge looking guns connected together making it a rail gun. Behind him is T-Wrecks in robot mode but it is cut off. We do have a much better look at T-Wrecks in alt mode. This is a redeco of Kingdom BW Megatron and he should have a different headsculpt, resembling the G1 toy, since that headsculpt was mistakenly added to a Kingdom Megatron toy.

Given Huffer has that connection to Prime's trailer that he only used in a single episode. I wouldn't be surprised if the extremely obscure nods like that keep turning up.
