The first Transformers Magazine from Titan UK has been just been released in the UK on Thursday the 23rd of October 2008.

Featuring in the first issue of the Titan UK Transformers Animated Magazine is long time Transformers scribe Simon Furman, who has dropped some hints about what to expect from the issue in his blog simonfurman.wordress.com.

Each issue features an all-new 11-page comic strip created exclusively for the UK, the first of which introduces an all-new Autobot character, one who’ll make a big impact on TFA universe as the story unfolds. The first story, ‘Burnout’, is written by me and drawn by John McCrea, with colour by Kat Nicholson.

Issue #1 also contains an adaptation of the animated episode "Blast from the Past", puzzles, features, competitions and a wrist mounted missile launcher.

So it's not Sideswipe. This should calm some folks down about "how not sideswipe he looks."

The new guy, Afterburn, was strange to see at first, but I think he's alright. Wish I could have read that comic.
