Who wins?

Dante rarely ever makes direct contact with his opponents; it's usually a bullet or sword that does them in. As such, unless Rogue were to grab onto Wolverine for a few hours beforehand, Dante wins.

Actually, Rogue is already bulletproof, as a reult of absorbing Ms. Marvel's powers.

I wonder if she can survive being impaled with a demonic sword...

Who says he would get the chance to impale her? She would just fly over to him, grab him and suck out all his powers first.

If this is Comic-book Rogue, then yeah, she wins. She drops a building ontop of Dante... Followed by a blue whale..

As for movie Rogue, Dante wins hands down. She's kind of a wuss.

Rogue will only get her hands on Dante if he lets her. And to get her hands on him, she'd have to get within range of his sword.

We're talking about a man who, at his weakest, was able to shrug off being stabbed by multiple scythes, then walk away, while still impaled. He then put on some fight music, and proceeded to use the scythes as a weapon while they were still embedded in him. This is a man who's regeneration and tolerance for pain rival Wolverine. Rogue is going to need more than a building.

Valid points, but it'd be an endurance battle, of which Rogue has plenty. And she doesn't drop nice shiney orbs for dante to heal himself off of. Plus, she can fly really fast. A quick airial swoop down on dante, gloves off, and hands on his face. He gets drained, she wins... Or she seduces him before he knows about the power drain thing... and he gets drained during what could be the best night of his life O.o...

The orbs aren't story-related, they're just for gameplay purposes. At no point in any cutscene or the anime does it show Dante requiring orbs to heal himself. A wound very rarely even exists after he's stabbed. We're talking Wolverine level regeneration, he considers getting shot in the head an annoyance.

You really do not give Dante any credit at all. This is a guy who's able to cut bullets out of mid-air, a guy who's not only able to avoid an RPG round at point-blank range, but also leap onto it, ride it around, and then redirect it somewhere else. He'll see her coming, then it's a matter of holding Rebellion at arms length.

I'm curious for anyone still reading X-men what are rogues powers currently? Last time I was reading X-men Rogue had access to the powers of every person she had ever touched and was kicking the ass of a mulitversal armada. That version would destroy dante.

Rogue could drain Dante's weapons and possibly even gain a devil trigger. Which makes it a whole different battle. I still say Dante would win since he's better armed and has a weapon and ability for every occasion. Fireballs, lightning bolts, exploding spears, and the ability to slow time will get you out of any situation.

Why are you talking about this on seibertron :? and isn't it just the same 3 posting over and over?

Because outside of the TF forums, the site isn't totally restricted to TF.

Yeah, it is, that's often how most arguments go on Seibertron, or anywhere, really.

Devil Trigger is internal, anyone who has Devil Trigger (And the anime has shown that such a power isn't restricted to Dante and Vergil, though a demonic lineage seems to be required) can access it without a weapon.

Both are over-powered and non-existent. Spelling 'Rogue' correctly wins. 'Rouge' is a pinkish red colour in make-up, home decoration, etc.
