Thought I would start a topic for Ohioans looking for figures. I've been to 2 Wal-marts, 1 Target and 2 Toys r Us in Columbus and none have the new wave of figures as of yesterday. Anyone else have any luck?

I live north of Dayton. I've been to Troy, Piqua, Huber Heights, and Beavercreek Walmarts. Nothing but the original stuff. Checked Target in Huber, nothing. Toys R Us in Beavercreek was the same.
What they do have on the shelves are Voyager Ironhide, Ratchet, the occassional Blackout, quite a few Leader Primes and Megatrons, Deluxe Jazz, Swindle, Wreckage, some Bonecrushers, and the occasional Brawl. Then all the other stuff like the real gear, cyber stompers, and the normal line of FAB's.
It's impossible to find a 74 Bumblebee here at this point. Barricade seems to have disappeared after I got mine last week or so.

Just checked the Wal-Mart, Target and Toys R' Us near me. Still no luck. They have pretty much what you said.
Although I did see a few 74 BB's at Toys R Us and Target had Arcee. TRU had several of the protoform primes and SC's as well.

Nothing new in Toledo yet. I've checked all 3 TRUs, 2 out of 3 WalMarts, and 2 out of 3 Targets.

Well, I did find my 08 BB today actually. At a Walmart that my gf worked at. She's an assistant manager at one, so she was out today to talk to the company market manager (think Personnel dpt.) and just happened to check for me. There were about 6 or so visible, she grabbed two, one for her and one to leave with me. Unfortunetly, I didn't have a good experience with mine at all. It was a horribly loose mess compared to hers. We couldn't transform him without a body part falling off. He wouldn't stand because the waist joint was so loose he just kept collapsing on himself, and these yellow shoulder pad things kept falling off to top it all off.
So we took him back. I've never taken one back, but this thing was a mess, and hers was working so well. By the time I got back to the store and returned him, there was a guy a little younger then me holding one in his hand and taking a picture of the last one on the shelf with his camera phone. So when he got his pic, I got my BB. We're pretty sure it was the last one there. And it's loads better then the first. I have no idea why every ball joint on that first one was such a mess, but it was. This one nothing has fallen off. He stands and can be posed very well. Felt bad about taking the last one because of my return, but hey, I paid money and it didn't work worth a damn.
My gf started to modify hers to look more like the movie. She grabbed one of my silver sharpies and loaded a movie pic of him and proceded to go to town. Then added the black to the rear clip (see the concept car or pics of the movie car, the rear clip is black around the exhaust pipes but the toy is yellow, which is inaccurate). She's going to completely repaint him with some liquitex cadmium yellow because both of ours paint quality is kinda bad, as was the returned one.
He transforms pretty nice, and looks pretty cool.
Later we went to another *closer* Walmart and they still didn't have anything new.

My local Wal*Mart had about 20 Leader Optimus Prime today and only 2 Leader Megatron until I got mine. Meijer has bad selection probably because they're remodeling. TRU I frequent has way too many Voyager Starscreams and Ironhides; like 3 shelves full. Another Wal*Mart still has a lot of Bonecrushers and Swindles. Local K-Mart has had the worst selection and their prices are higher than every other store. One Target mainly has all their exclusives. Deluxes and Voyagers are getting scarce at most stores. Real Gear, Fast Action Battlers, Cyber Slammers and Stompers, OP and SS nerf guns--all seem to be shelf warmers. Haven't seen new voyagers or deluxes yet. Most likely will hit Wal*Mart over the weekend, hopefully they have '08 BB, only figure I need to complete my movie collection. I only go to stores close to home or on the way from work due to these outrageous gas prices.

Aww man, he had to start that didn't he?
Cool that you guys got your own thread going. It's been quite helpful for us, and very good for meeting people in your area.

I agree that this thread has been a long time coming!
Anyone else in the Columbus area, the Wal-Mart on Georgesville Rd. on the SW side had 2 '08 Bumblebees, 2 Arcees, and a few Dreadwings on their shelves today (7/18) as of 4 PM. Got myself a couple of '08s just because!
Anyone who's interested--I also have about 3 (soon to be 4) Targets, a TRU, and 3-4 other Wal-Marts around me (5-6 if I really try)...I'd be happy to check around for people, as I've never run into a figure that I couldn't find SOMEWHERE.
My dad was a Michigan alum...and I've lived in Ohio my whole life. Where do I fit in?

Both places until the American League Playoffs, the Pistons play the Cavs, or OSU takes on U of M...then you have to decide.

Yes, that U of M/OSU game gets pretty nasty at my house...what with my wife being an OSU fan and me wearing maize and blue just to be difficult... Oh well, we each get a kid to dress in whatever color we want, too.

Thanks for the heads up about Wal-Mart on Georgesville rd. I live in Gahanna but it's not that far of a drive if they still have some. Might have to check over there today.

The Wal-Mart on Georgesville rd and the one at Tuttle mall both have Dreadwing and Arcee but no BB's. Also checked out Toys R Us and Target again with no luck.

Hmm...figures. I must have gotten there just after a restock. Sorry for your drive for nothing.
None of the other Wal-Marts around me have any of the newbies--I'd expect them to start hitting soon. I'll keep you posted if you're still looking.

Toy's R Us in Elyria has 74 BB and Leader class Prime and Megatron. I took the last Barricade. Couldn't find any 08 BB's in the area and Target only had scout class Arcee

In between Cleveland, OH and Erie, PA is where I'm located (good ol' Geneva), so I hit up everything from one to the other frequently. Tonight, in Madison, I picked up Arcee and a second Classics Optimus Prime (to turn into Nemesis Prime). I didn't see any '08 Bumblebees and I passed on the lame Dreadwing. I'm going to take a trip out to Willoughby Target tomorrow on the off chance they'll have any Ultra Magnus vs. Skywarp packs left...but I'm doubting it.

I live in Greenville PA, about 15 miles from the border and 25 from Niles/Warren. The Wal-Mart in Hermitage PA is the only one in this region to have the newest wave of Deluxes...yet. I called all the TRUs, Targets, Wal-Marts in the Youngstown region and none of them had Bumblebee or his fellow case mates. Sad thing is, the toy associates knew what I was talking about...looks like they've been through hell with this one so far.
One woman at Wal-Mart (Austintown) said they haven't received a case in about 2 weeks and their pegs are still full with figures everyone already has.
Nice to see that someone's in Elyria and the Ashtabula area. I have family in Lorain, and I do a bit of shopping in the 'Bula area, so now I can get the 411 on stock without having to waste the gas.

The new wave is starting to trickle into Toledo. The WalMart on Airport Hwy had 1 Dreadwing that I snatched up.

I had a long, but uneventful day yesterday.
I went to:
1.) Niles Target (Nothing.)
2.) Niles Toys R Us (Nothing new, movie related. War Within Titanium 2-Pack and Reissue Soundwave in stock, and in multiples of each.)
3.) Warren Wal-Mart (So bad that there's not only nothing, they have to come up some just to hit it on the meter.)
4.) Boardman Target (F.A.B. Frenzy x2)
5.) Boardman Wal-Mart (yet again, *JUST* missed the Bumblebee figure by one evening. One Arcee, and one Dreadwing remain.)
6.) Austintown Wal-Mart (yes, I know, I backtracked...by accident. Won't do that again.) (Two Bonecrushers, and that's literally it for Deluxes. They had more role play and computer items than they did actual figures.)
So, the wave is slowly starting to appear in this neck of the woods, but it won't be returning too soon...I saw what came in for the night shift....WV 1 R2 ('77 Bumblebee/Swindle case!) and 3 of them!
*sighs*...this is getting ridiculous. It would be so much easier if Amazon would just put the damn thing up on their site, but no...

I was just at the Target & K&B Toys at Easton and they were bone dry. Saddest movie selections I've seen yet. That Target normally has a good selection but it doesn't look like they've been stocked in a while

I was at KB at Easton on Friday, and all they had then was about 10 movie Jazz, and a few Legends Megatrons.

Checked the Toys R' Us and Wal-Mart near me yesterday as well. TRU moved their transformers section back to the rest of the figures. Nothing new there. Wal-Mart was empty just like the other store I was at. You would think they would have restocked by now.

Which TRU in Columbus did you go to, Sawmill, or Morse Road?

Went to Target at Polaris near Columbus, all they had were the movie repaints of Energon toys, and the titianum movie Prime 3 pack.
