Wait, are those the minifigure blind packs? They look horribly painted compared to this:

Anyway, yeah, Lockdown looks badass. Very Destro-esque. This will piss off some Animated fans.

GOOD

Now THAT is a TF face I can get behind. Unlike Hound, with his...trappers...trappings.

Looks like a step down from how awesome the rotf toy head looked like.

No no, those are MashEms! Squishy throwing things with very little paint. :P

I don't know, what I should think on the next movie though. When I see all the newest pictures, my first idea is that the movie will totally suck visually... Because Optimus Prime doesn't really looks great, Drift looks like sh.. and Lockdown isn't that great, too...And Bumblebee, well it's Bumblebee...

so lockdown had a kick ass looking figure in ROTF but instead of using that as a basis they go with this crap, i have the feeling that this is just hasbro slapping the name on a bot to keep the copy right.

Yeah, also my feeling. But the hole movie is too much eastern orientated, I mean Optimus Prime and Drift looks like Samurais, well I haven't a problem with Samurais movies, but to combine this with Transformers will suck, the best example is Transformers Go in my eyes...

Well I know one who don't collect the Transformers Age of Extiction toys. :-?

Optimus is more based on a medieval knight than a samurai, which would be more western than eastern.

And, there have been tons of samurai Transformers in the past.

I look forward to samurai bot prowl was samurai in animated, would have prefer ninja oh well bumblebee everyone feel same way about bumblebee from legend to leader class with bee IF Hasbro could just dumb it down with bees there wouldn't be much hate for him on trans sites out there,.

who ever said it he does close resemble to destro like to see whole face in color be better judge of this character

Yeah, I wasn't a really big fan of Animated Samurai Prowl either, but he looked better than AOE Drift. Yeah, AOE Lockdown looks really a little bit like Destro, and his smile remembers also a little bit of the Joker. :-?

He looks very human... maybe he actually is part human and part robot :-?

So am I the only one that thinks Lockdown looks like a mechanical Martin Luther King? Or am I just weird? :-s

Normally, I'd disown this guy as Lockdown, but 1) I'm too lazy to do so today, 2) I'm to the point where I sigh and think, "This is exactly what I should expect from Michael Bay", and 3) I actually kinda dig this look. Sure, I would've like to at least seen a splash of green on him just to have a small homage to his Animated roots, but the complete badassery that his car mode completely overrules every argument I can give.

Admittedly, Age of Extinction is beginning to have me interested (with the exception of that Leader/First Edition Optimus Prime). If the toys don't suck like Dark of the Moon's did, I may get back into getting movie toys.

Yeah, and isn't that what this fandom has been begging for since the first movie? Less insectoid faces and more discernible humanoid faces?

I know I have been.
And now the reverse is in effect, with folks complaining that it's not like the faces in the first three films.

This fandom, I swear! :BANG_HEAD:

When I first saw the picture of that Lockdown toy, I said to myself, "Holy damn, that dude who was on here months ago was right," and I kind of believed him, too. With that said, I liked the insect faces on the TFs. But, whatever. Change is fine.

Waita generalize. Rotf Lockdown didnt have anything near an insect face. He actually had quite the opposite compared to bonecrusher or starscream. You guys need to stop attacking your fellow fans just for having opinions.

It's not hideous, there has been far worse. This has definitely got its cool factor, it also somewhat looks like a T-800. It's just that when it looked so much more wicked and badass in the ROTF toy form and the CGI packaging, this just feels meh in comparison.

With all these new aoe designs iv'e realized that most robots we've seen so far have human like faces.....Think Drift and Hound now Lockdown? Lets hope Slingshot or Crosshairs has a more transformery like head.
