According to "Zen the Obscure" on the unfiction.com boards, the new S7 password is found in the 4th prequel comic...

The password is "gravesen".

Well, the password works for me at least. It starts up a new video right off, all but the man's eyes are hidden in darkness and the voice is heavily modulated. You may want to turn up your speakers to mostly understand him.

Sorry, I guess I worded it wrong, the password does indeed work, I tested it out myself before I posted it!

The new video contained within is of Agent Gravesen, sitting in shadows, addressing the rest of Sector 7 via webcam.

"This is Gravesen, Agent Simmons has assigned me to oversee Sector 7 headquarters for the foreseeable future. So things are about to change.

First off; Powers is no longer your superior officer. Let's just say he's been reassigned to duties more befitting his capabilites.

Second; over the next two weeks email will be restricted so we can find these backdoor passwords and shut them down once and for all. During this time, all communique will be done the old fashioned way, on paper.

Third; regarding this Agent X situation, we believe he has gotten himself a new ally in Dr. Rebecca Howard and we have concluded that they have both survived the explosion at the warehouse in Milwaukee. We have agents out there hunting them down right now, but there may be additional moles here inside Sector 7. Be sure to monitor everyone around you. Report any suspicious activity immediately. Failure to report traitorous acts is tantamount to treason against the United States of America and you will be dealt with accordingly.

And lastly; we have determined that there is an 82% probability that N.B.E.'s have arrived on Earth. As a result, Agent Simmons has raised the threat level to condition Delta. That is all for now."

Sector 7 is the Black Ops government agency that has the "Megaman", which was recovered 100 years ago. The Megaman is an extraterrestrial mechanoid that crashed into the Artic. Sector 7 has since kept their Megaman in a frozen stasis and had begun to reverse engineer the technology of their technological terror.

Also, in 1983 they came up with "Operation: Hungry Dragon", and contacted Takara (through a dummy company "Sector 7 Industries") and gave them the ideas that eventually became "The Transformers". Their reasons for doing so? Plausible deniability, by hiding fact through fiction... In essence, "The Transformers" IS truth in fiction; the truth is basically there.

The upcoming movie is "Operation: Hungry Dragon 2", and it's more of the same... Trying to hide the truth right in front of our face.

--OK, that's the basic plot of the Transformers ARG ("Alternate Reality Game") that's being run right now between
http://www.sectorseven.org and
http://www.buzznet.com/groups/stopsectorseven/. So, if you'd like to check it out further, please feel free to stop by the StopSectorSeven site at Buzznet and check it out. Otherwise, check out the article at http://www.argn.com/archive/000580transformers_truth_in_disguise.php to get some more info on the ARG (article is a little outdated, as it was written almost a month ago now).

I'm hoping it comes out with Spider-Man 3, but I doubt it will at this point.

I like how on the Sector 7 website they have e-mails talking about the Mega-Man. They talk about the symptoms people suffer when imprisoned next to him: madness, loss of memory, thinking they are the Mega-Man themselves, etc. Very cool little backstory.

Hopefully the film itself will be just as sinsiter and dark.

I doubt it, but I can hope.

I don't know about you guys, but reading the prequel comic and the prequel novel, and then seeing all this stuff play out on the mock web site reminds me of being a kid again and getting into all the crap like calling Sergent Slaughter from GI-Joe. It's really cool seeing all these people talk about Agent Simmons and then reading about him in the novel. Not that the story is about him, but it is cool to see how clueless they really are about what's about to happen to them.

Cool, I guess I wasn't expecting to get front-paged... It's always neat to see your name in the news print... But, as I'd said in my first post, I'd like to toss the credit over to the Unfiction.com forum boards and all the work that they've done regarding the Transformers ARG... I haven't had the opportunity to pick up the recent prequel comic up myself yet, and it's thanks to them (and "Zen the Obscure" specifically) that I was able to bring the information to everyone else that's interested in the Transformers community!
