If Uncle Ben and Willem Dafoe can keep making appearances in the Spider-Man movies despite the fact they died in the first film, I suppose Jazz can make it into TF2 somehow.

I still doubt we're going to see Jazz again. I could see Darius McCrary possibly being asked back again to do other voices though.

I don't know how I feel about Jazz returning.... He is one of my faves next to Bumblebee (if they kill him someone will have to die), but it is probably for the best....

I can support this idea primarly because the autobots need SOMEONe test out the Allspark shard, and with Megs having a big portion inside him, he has the ability to turn anything he touches into a transformner, thus creating a quick army of new descepticons. POssibly renaming himsself Galvatron because GALVanize means to forge from metal...least thats what i remember it essentially means

The G1 Deluxe repaint was nice and all, but seriously, I hope that this is just one of Bay's tricks, and that Jazz will actually stay dead.

Furthermore, I expect to see MORE Autobot casualties next time. If the writers know anything about how to make a good sequel, TF2 should be the movie where our heroes - for whom everything has been going great since the end of the first movie - have their world torn apart around them.

Such short term memories people have ....

McCrary actually came out and said something similar within a few weeks of the movie opening.

Frankly I think it's not even an attempt by Bay to throw people off, I think it's a poor attempt by McCrary to talk up his own name by sounding like he's an important part of the TF franchise.

I would think if Jazz comes back, he would be in a story that takes place prior to Megatron ripping him apart. If the rumor is true, do I smell a flashback to days on Cybertron???

Also the voice actors could just be signed on for sequals in case they are needed.

Bay did say there will be fake stuff out there, and since he was nice enough to warn us, i'm nice enough to be suspicious. :-?

That seems VERY plausible. Good one.

Why? because false information is being treated as true or because true material is being treated as false? It's kinda a mixed-up thing, telling people their going to be mislead. by doing just that they can show you every last detail of the movie & you'll still be skeptical untill you actually see the movie.

Anywho, I'd like to see Jazz come back, if for no other reason because this time around they'll have a bigger budget & perhaps will not have only GMC vehicles, which could mean Jazz will be a Porche like he should have been in the first place, instead of a little dinky Solstice.

......a Porche with a b*tchin' sound system.......

Congrats on 400.

But really, all this "Bay said" stuff is getting old. Let's just take it for what it is and enjoy the ride to the next movie. :)

and i'm sure Jazz's resurrection has absolutely NOTHING to do with complaints that they "killed the black guy" in the first one

Won't be suprized if it's true, he's a fan favorite from the earliest days, and Transformers like Goku have a hard time staying dead.

But then again, maybe this be Bay's crafty trickery at play.

At this rate we'll have no new characters in the second movie. Why not bring back Bonecrusher, Brawl, Frenzy and Blackout too? And have them re-do everything they did in the first film. They could call it "Transformers Again"

It reminds me of all the anti-Arcee people who complained that Arcee would just take the spot of another more deserving character. So is bringing back Jazz any better? At least Arcee would replace said "more deserving character" with a new character - why do they have to fill up the on-screen cast with robots who have already been in the first film and died, aren't there enough bots in the TF Universe to choose from without having to bring back the dead ones?

As much as I hate to, I completely agree with you. I dont want to see ANY of the Transformers get revived, ressurrected, ensparkened, whatever you wanna call it.

Besides, new toys are so much better.

But without getting into speculation though, rebuilding him could be a good way to introduce other technicians like Preceptor and WheelJack, as well as give him a new figure as well(movie Jazz sucks).

As for bringing back the Cons, well, there where very few Decepticon medics, don't they normaly just lay where they fall?

Sure it could. Or they could just show up on Earth like the first 5 did. There's more than a few ways to make this work, but the question is: Should they?
