I really hope that's not a final production unit...

Paint aps could be nice if done right, but look sloppy for now.

Wow I like the car mode.... the rest kinda sucks, good I just plain hate this mold. But still the carmode looks awesome with that blue lighting.

Im not really impressed at all with a couple figures (looking at Jazz) but others (PRIME BABY) really move me, hence my repaint WIP you can find in Repaints.

This has a decent paint scheme in car mode, and at least they made him look evil. But no. I can't see shelling out cash for this figure, which really sucks because I love the Shattered Glass concept, they're just picking really crappy molds to go off of with some of these.

The color scheme is great, but that face is disgusting! Is he supposed to battle damaged like Prime? I hope we get to see Wheeljack/Drench and Megatron soon.

Front pages CP, et al.

And I like the idea in theory, if we hadn't already gotten a G1 style Blurr from that mold in Cybertron. The black evil version though...I suppose I must have it if this is true.

Nice, nicely done face (looks a lil rough yet though). But to be honest, I think we got enough Blurr love with the awesomely done Cybertron Blurr.

Does anybody else feel he's evoking Scourge there?

Anyway kinda sloppy. Glad I'm not picking up this years set.

Well, remember, its just Blurr's mold. this could very well turn out to be Prowl or Sideswipe, who knows.

I don't have this mold in any form, but I hear its a great one.

Very true.

It is indeed an awesome mould. I'm sad that I only own the Armada release though. The cybertron one is so damn awesome.

I wouldn't say it's a great mold, but I wouldn't say it's a bad one either.

It's a nice mold really, but has a couple of things that don't do it any favours.

As for this repaint, I like the lightning, the alt mode does look good. But the eye patch? No thanks. To me it just seems very pirate-like and it's failing miserably there.

This is the first Botcon set in awhile where I have no strong desire to get them all. Since I can't attend, I won't be shelling out eBay prices for all the figures - only the select few I feel fit in with this concept. I am not excited about all the figures. I want to be - but I just am not. I like the concept and I like Goldbug, Prime, Jazz, Starscream, and probably Megatron, Wheeljack and Rodimus. Those characters fit.

Ricochet? Not a character I care about.

Razorclaw? He got a serious demotion from savage predacon leader to ... pet cat?

Blurr? I like the mold and paint. The head sculpt looks good too, but why Blurr? Like Ricochet, the character does not fit.

Grimlock? Understandable character choice, but I think the Trypticon color scheme was a mistake. They should have gone with mostly black with splashes of red or orange (like Titanium The Fallen). I'd even settle for some blue (like his G2 counterpart).

Since I have not seen the others, I will reserve judgement. Megatron will be a must, but I wish there were more Decepticons.

It looks like the lineup I will keep (so far) is Prime, Jazz, Goldbug vs. Starscream and Megatron. I'll be satisfied with them. The unseen figures are a toss-up right now. I eagerly anticpate seeing the Armada Wheeljack redeco.

i like both heads of the those first two blurrs that were released during the trilogy, but i hated the bodies- anytime the arms don"t extend out past the chest "blarghhh". its not like i"m going to be picking up on these figures anyway as i won"t spend that kind of money on something like that.if they do new figures i honestly wish they would spend the time on getting the figures a little more size uniformity...you know proper sizing car vs. helicopter a little more realism in that department would be awesome. like Blackout was supposed to be the largest of the decepticons from the movie..a giant, and yet the Barricade figure hits him at his chest.Blackout ends up little compared to Starscream.
in the end thus far i"ve only seen one set of figures from Bot-Con that i would like to have and that"s the whole pre-beast wars figures - more of those please. like that "new" version of Cryotek.

lol, yeah, I wasn't aware that Autobots could bleed red blood either. But that does give Bay a great idea to do a TF Pirates of the Carribean crossover.

Meh.

I'm glad I got the Cybertron version of Blur, but I never need that mold again.

It is OK at best. Kinda crummy articulation (it originally Armada, so that makes sense) and lots o' back kibble.

Kind of a neat looking car though.

Neat alt mode. Crappy robot mode. I won't be getting that Shattered Glass issue.

Sideswipe as a heroic Decepticon? Are they on crack? Just name it after one of the Stunticons and be done with it.

I'm a little confused. Does this Blurr have hands at all? It just looks like they molded his blasters to his arms. That puts me off to the mold alot if they did.

He has hands that hold his guns, not with standardized fist holes though. It's just the angle that make him look like he has guns for arms.
