Ugh, a young leader? They make him sound like a boy scout, the only time a young leader was EVER good was with Beast wars neo, Big Convoy was the best Convoy/Prime ever made, this thing is horrible.

 Boy, I wonder what that's all about.

And you know, how come Hasbro never bothered with Cybertronian modes for the G1 line? There's clearly a lot of potential for new toys there.

then it says in his "galactic powers and abilities" that he was trained at the autobot academy :-?

and in G1 they only had one mode

Daniel Gallagher wrote:I can't be bothered to read every fact about TFs Animated, but is there actually any confirmation that there will be an Earth mode of these toys and also, Voyager Class figures or even Leader Class?

Deluxe sucks for Prime.

And I wonder what his Earth mode will look like.

Can someone shed some light on it?

Thanks,

Dan

No leader Class for animated.
But we are gettting a voyeger prime.

I also suffer from "the more I see the worse it gets" syndrome. I mean, the movie Cyber Slammers look more serious than these...if they had shorter chins, I might have been sold.

I agree. I long for the days of the 80s packaging. Or the packaging from the JPN released toys with all that lovely styrofoam. That keeps the box from creasing and you can very easily redisplay the item.

I really don't like the new look of the backer cards

It looks as if these should be 4th of July Transformers

Have we seen any color pictures of the Voyager class toy yet? I've only seen the uncolored one here.

That seller is crazy he wants 180 bucks for a mere 10 - 20 dollar toy that is coming out next month. I don't even find the toy appealing at all. It makes me appreciate my original g1 or mp Optimus Prime even more.

Is there an Earth mode for Optimus Prime as well? Sorry for this simple question, I haven't been following this line very closely.

I.ve said my piece on Animated, so I'm just gonna ask why someone would pay $210 for a $10 figure that'll be out soon enough all over the place?

Just look a few posts above yours.
Someone posted the prototype pics that were at bot-con/comic-con

Although I don't think the voyeger prime will be in wave 1.

Am I the only one that thinks the toy looks like it's made out of the cheapest plastic possible? The quality of some of these toys, and the packaging especially, is atrocious. The G1 boxes were much better (and in some cases, the best).

FYI--These are not supposed to be in stores until June, so it's about 6 months before we can buy one for $10.

I like the Cybertron alt mode. It is very new, while it does not really suggest a function, it does have room for a trailer to be attached, so he could be a manual laborer.

I like it.

Primes seem to collect themselves around here. I didn't realize how many I had 'til I was cleaning the other day.

So... probably going to end up with this one too. I'm liking the Animated figures so far. They look friendly.
