I just received a slightly advance copy of the Club exclusives Airazor and Astrotrain today. Apparently both figures have already begun shipping this week so if you purchased these figures you should be receiving them within the next week or two. I wasn't expecting the packaging to be the same quality as the regular convention exclusive sets. These are definitely incredible sets that are worthy enough to add alongside 13 years worth of Botcon exclusives. Without further ado, here are some teaser pictures until I have time tomorrow night to begin working on full blown galleries of these awesome and long awaited figures. Please click on the images below to view larger images.

CHROMIA 10 PILOT (AIRAZOR)
Function: Squadron Leader

"The more things change, the more they stay the same."

The Maximal Imperium employs many different tactics in their attempts to maintain peace throughout the galaxy. The smart and sassy pilot of the Chromia 10 heads up one of the numerous Maximal Squadrons assigned to prevent any rogue Predacon factions from operating outside the terms of the Pax Cybertronia. Airazor and her team are often delegated recon missions deep within Predacon space where many Maximals dare not venture. Her fellow pilots are inspired by her willingness to put herself in harm's way if it means protecting the peace the Maximals hold so dear. In vehicle mode she is able to observe her targets at a range of up to 30,000 feet and recreate any enemy Intel she comes across with 3-D virtual reality maps. Equipped with a titanium plated exo-structure, in robot mode her weapon of choice is her Retractable Photon Cannon.

ASTROTRAIN
Function: Bounty Hunter

Motto: "The greatest opportunities are borne from adversity."

Constructed to serve as a transport for Megatron and his warriors, Astrotrain became discontent ferrying unappreciative Decepticons across the galaxy. In the chaos that followed The Unicron Battles, Astrotrain struck out on his own as a bounty hunter. Astrotrain convinced the Mini-Con Star Catcher to join him by promising him wealth and riches. The same promise was made to a trio of Mini-Cons who joined him later: Astro-Hook, Astro-Line and Astro-Sinker. Astrotrain is cruel, but he is also extremely loyal to those under his command. He has an innate ability to inspire loyalty to others. His years of successful commissions have afforded him significant wealth, allowing him to upgrade his systems, greatly enhancing his strength. However, he has never given up his primary weapon, an ionic blaster that disrupts an enemy's internal circuitry.

Here's a teaser of other things to come ...

Man this is going to be tough. So do I complete galleries of Airazor and Astrotrain first or the brand new Alternator Rumble that I just got from Action-HQ.com? Hmmm ...

I've been trying to get my hands on Revoltech Ultra Magnus after the prices for this figure skyrocketed during the past month to $35 - $50 on eBay. Makes me wish I had grabbed the one at Image Anime last month in New York for only $25. I didn't realize at the time that Magnus was a limited edition figure and not part of the regular line.

BBTS listed Ultra Magnus for $29 last week so I jumped at it along with getting Convoy for $24ish. I've been wanting to get these 2 since Magnus jumped in price and since the pictures of Megatron were released. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of the Convoy mold but I think the Megatron mold is incredible. I can't have a Megatron without a Prime so here they are ...

Some of you might have seen the reproduction God Swords (aka Master Swords) selling on eBay. There was a dealer last week selling all 3 variations for $120 which I jumped at since each individual sword was around $60. It was basically buy two get one free. I've now got a sword for Brave Maximus (blue sword), Fortress Maximus (red sword) and Grand Maximus (grey sword). Now I just need to get a Grand Max.

The red sword that I opened does not have the "Until All Are One" sticker on it. Has anyone else purchased these reproduction swords? If so, does yours have that sticker on it? Did the original set of swords have that sticker? I really don't care because I was able to get a great looking sword for my Fortress Maximus at last. Now all I need is a sword for Cerebros and I'll finally be able to do a Fort Max gallery. Pardon the spider web right above his head ... I didn't notice that until I was cropping the picture. Hoepfully the spider didn't take residence in Fort Max. :)

Do the convention exclusives. Then get a Cerebros sword and do a Fort Max gallery.

Rumble will get a gallery first because he's a new figure over Fort Max. The likelihood of me getting a Cerebros sword anytime soon is like zero next to nothing. I'll probably do the Fort Max gallery without it.

I finished my Scorponok today. I received the guns for Fast Track. I can't believe I lost the small parts for Scorponok at some point. I bet those parts are with my missing socks.

I also received the second Lord Zarak that I bought off eBay two weeks ago before I figured out how to fix Scorponok. I was a little bummed, the new Zarak is a little yellowed in the light cream colored areas on the Scorponok face side of Zarak (Zarak's backside). If you didn't own two Zaraks, you probably wouldn't really be able to tell and if I took gallery pics of it, you guys probably wouldn't know either.

Ah, OK. As big a Maxie fan as I am, I wouldn't mind seeing Alt. Rumble. Especially since, as a Canadian, it's most likely the only way I'm ever gonna see him.

w00t! Went to a friend's house one time. He had Scorponok, too. Course, he was missing Zarak, but that didn't matter. Can't wait for that one. (Any ETA on when we might be seeing it?)

Scorponok and Fort Max are a package deal along with Brave Maximus. I still really want to get my hands on a Black Zarak and a Grand Max before I do their galleries but that probably won't happen at this time. I'm not quite ready to spend $2,000+ on 2 figures yet.

Both of these figures are going to take a lot of time to prep. Both figures have been sitting on shelves for 10+ years. They're a little dirty from the dust. Plus I need to replace a lot of stickers on them which I'm not sure what I think of. I think I would like to get their original sticker sheets as well so that I can replace as many original stickers as possible. But I have a feeling that I will just replace the bad stickers with repros because of how many of them were factory applied. We'll see. I'm itching to do them now that they're complete minus a sword for Cerebros.

I'll tell you what ... if you guys help me find/buy/get a sword for Cerebros, I'll make the time to do galleries of Fort Max and Scorponok in 2 - 3 weeks from when I get a Cerebros sword. Sound like a deal?

Astrotrain looks sooo awesome! I wish I had the funds to track down these exclusives! It seems all of the timelines toys are brilliantly done.

I would really like to see the Rumble gallery as I have yet to see some good poses with him and as mentioned before, he will be the newest hot-item for all the Alt. fans.

Also, Ryan... you might have the best job ever.

Ah, I wish Seibertron.com was indeed my full time job. However, it doesn't pay the pay the all of the bills just quite yet. I'd give just about anything to make this site my full time job so that I could spend more time working on it.

Nice pick ups. I probably would have let you have my Revoltechs for a couple a beers... I'm not a big fan. Maybe when Megs comes around I'll look at them differently.

I need Cerebros sword too!!! And Fort Max looks so much better with the sword, does he not? Shame the US version did not come with one. Do you already have the Matrix blade for God Fire Convoy??? Did your repro sets come with the blade handle to use with the sword blade???

I'll be getting a Black Zarak here in the next month. When I get it, why don't you run come up to Michigan for a little bit and visit the homeland??? You can snap some pics of him...(JK)

Also, before you do a Fort Max gallery you need to get one of the KO WST Fort Maxs (which I will also have soon) to use in the the gallery!

Wow. I can't believe the packaging for the club exclusives is just as good as the con exclusives. A fantastic surprise, indeed.

The exclusives look sweet. For some reason I'm not buying into non-transformable transformers (oops is it an oxymoron :) ). The idea is just illogical.

I have a Cerebros ... just need a sword for him.

I bought a set of original Scorponok stickers and Fort Max stickers on eBay last night. I will use those in conjunction with the repro stickers that I have for both figures. I'll replace all of the original stickers that need to be replaced with the ones from the original sticker sheets and then replace any of the factory applied stickers that need to be replaced that weren't part of the original sticker sheets with the repro labels.

Just need a Cerebros sword and I'll do Scorponok and Fort Max's galleries at last along with Brave Max. Sadly, I probably have a better chance of buying Black Zarak and Grand Maximus before I get a sword for Cerebros. I actually probably have a better chance of buying a complete Japanese Fort Max set, removing the Cerebros sword and then selling that very Fort Max set sans Cerebros sword back on eBay.
