The box looks to be alot bigger than need be, any suprizes in there?

Nope.

Darn!

Still, good find, enjoy!

PS, I'm digging the pics, some planet modes would be cool :-?

Just finished his planet mode. What a bitch! It actually is fun, but it is the supreme puzzle former! Basically you fold his legs up and try to align the shell, but it is almost like a game that if you let one piece slipp out, you have to start over. I'll take pics of it next to the other planet formers, but I got to go pick up dinner first.

A complex transformation, and more pics, cool 2 things to look forward to!

That is unless it has the same type of defects as Leader Brawl :?

Anyhow, I still look forward to the comparison shot, and if you wouldn't mind, could you also toss one of the insert in as well? I've been real curious about the box size of this figure. I trust you when you said nothing special is going on in there, but it would just shut my stupid brain up :P

Enjoy your eats

Here you go!

A quick review. This is definitely the best SW TF yet. It is poseable and the Transformation is really fun. It is a pure puzzle former that makes Elephant Prime look easy. It's almost like a rubocs cube kind of game. The planest mode was bigger than I thought it would be, maybe about 5% smaller than Primus. And it does form an absolute perfect sphere. The price is higher than I thought it would be, but if you want it, now is the time to get it as it is 25% off on Hasbro's website.

 Thanks, you are a God Among Insects for that

I like the light up pic, and the alt mode is very reputable. That is about the best thing about this line. The ships are dead on!

Also thanks for throwing in a pick of the insert. I was hoping it would be used better, but it looks like they did it just to expand the package to make it seem bigger and help people rationalize the cost :-?

Enjoy the toy, if it be sooner or later, I still look forward to getting this one myself!

Have my own back story and everything for it :D

Also, do those feet in alt mode fold in, and how does the cape hide?

Jeez, he is tiny! Look at those 3 figures, they're all the same price point! They're all supreme class. What a crock! I was hoping the Death Star would at least be the same size as Primus but they just keep getting smaller & smaller for the same damn price! I was upset when Primus was smaller than Unicron, now try to imagine how I feel. They made a tiny figure & added a ton of dead space in the box so they can still charge $50.00. And they're probably hoping nobody would notice! :-x

Hey the little Tie Fighters sort of Transform. You can flip open their canopies for a "Mech Mode".

Vader has more gimmicks than Primus and Unicron together, hence the price tag.

Can you describe the sounds and lights? Any phrases?

So DLX '09 Bumblebee is worth about $2 according to your scale of value.

Yea, his lights and sounds are awesome.

In Robot mode, his lightsaber hand has a seperate light and sound to activate the lightsaber. Also you can press his front button to make him say his phrases and light up his chest, there are a couple of vader originals there. In ship mode (or by pressing the back button, his lights and sounds are not mode dependent), he does two phrases (I think, he's not in front of me now) and the Death Sta cannon does like a countdown thing with the lights, then does all lights like it's firing...but after it fires, it does the Darth Vader breathing noise, which I think could have been left out of vehicle mode.

One thing that I noticed is that it is hard to transform back to robot becase once it's in a ball, I could find where to crack the shell, it is that tight! I did figure it out, and got him back. Then I looked at the instructions and see they actually do include seperate "back to robot mode" instructions for that reason. The instructions are the biggest I've seen in a long time. Which is how I found ot that the Tie Fighters have "functionality".

I'll wait for a price drop , thats a bit too much for one of those starwars figures, all the ones i owned in the past fell apart or were way too loose so im not dropping that much money on him.
He is a cool looking figure though.

Gotta say, he kicks ass over Primus and Unicron. I'm one who likes the Star Wars line but that is one nice figure.
