What total bullshit, Hasbro you suck

Join the club and quit your belly aching.

If you really wanted them, you'd find the extra cash to make sure you got them.

i recently bought the entire complete set of seacons from bigbadtoystore for $150+, in pretty good condition. got lucky... Piranhacon looks great next to my japanese reissue Predaking. gotta love those combiners! cost alot, but they're very nice.
i'm not quite sure about the TF club, don't know if it's worth it. thinkin about it for the media. all the club exclusives are repaints! oh a new head... yay? hasbro is really making a killing. as a diehard eternal fan, i want to see classic characters with NEW MOLDS!!!!! i am sick of seeing repaints.
BTW i like the new Arcee alot, definitely needs to be in TF movie #2. coolest Arcee yet.

Woohoo!! The only thing that would be better than this is to have them as G1 reissues....well, that & if snaptrap didn't have half yellow/half black guns....but that would be easily fixed by a couple of touches of paint.

....I hope they don't cost much......

So in other words, what would have cost about 40$ or so at walmart for the universe line , will now wind up costing fans probably 180$ or more LOL that toy club is scam i think just a way for hasbro to charge crazy prices lol

I'm not in the US or Canada so it'll be $90 US for international membership - and that on top on the high price the Seacons will go for(and shipping) is just too much to reasonably pay, even for a desireable item like this.

So no I won't stop belly aching, you'll just have to bite me.

Or the Club may just be a way of fans getting a set of figures that would have otherwise been cancelled.

I still love these figures, they were my first as a child - and I love the new paint job. It would be cool if they would change the white on Seawing and Nautilator to that greyish-blue on the other figures, they would mesh much much better.

Still, I'm not complaining. The set is gorgeous enough as-is (and I've had 3 years to warm up to those yellow hands!).

How do they suck? They found a way to bring us these figures after Walmart bailed on them as an exclusive and no other retailer wanted to sell them as an exclusive (according to Hasbro at several BotCons). So finally, we'll get these figures at last. Kudos to Hasbro for not letting these figures die.

And congrats, Skowl. I know you've been dying to get your hands on these things for a very, very long time.

They looks pretty neat, but when are they coming out and how much will they be? I will join if I can get them under $60.

So are these re-paints of the original '87 Seacons, or other figures I probably have no idea about? I thought at first when I read this it was that the Seacons were finally made Classics. Either way, they're being put back into action after their BWII re-paints.

*edit* NM, I didn't read down far enough to see the pics. I like 'em for the most part. This'll be my first ever Seacon set if I join the club, I've never dished out the money for the giftset & then Nautilator as well. At least we fianlly get al 6 in one set though!! I'll finally have a Piranacon!! Also, congrats to Skowl!!

Ah, damn it.
Well, before I rejoin, I think I'll wait and see what the price will be for the set. If it's over $60, in addition to the membership fee, I think I'll pass.

I have to aim this question a skowl since he seems to be the secons junky. What makes the orignal secons that these are based off so amazing. Also what is the difference between them and the beast wars figures not that I own either one just wondering. Because this may finally be the reason I join the collecters club.

Considering that the original retail Giftsets were around that price in the 80s and this is a limited run exclusive I doubt it will be that cheap. However this does have the benefit of already being mostly done by Hasbro so should be cheaper to produce then Astrotrain and Airrazor were since no remolding or anything on Funpubs part. I see the set being 80-100 bucks. Leaning more towards the 100. But see if you can find yourself an original set for that cheap and then you can start bitching again. Me I'm going to grab this one when it comes out and put him up next to the G1 and BW versions of the mold.

so do I have to be a member to get the set, or can I just pay extra to get one, since I doubt I'd get anything else from them.

I'd pay that if they gave us free shipping in North America.
