Fixed that for you. ;)

Also, Rails have been canonized by one of the Transformers Roleplaying Game's sourcebooks. :D

SS86 Bee is coming out this year in the same SS "A Level" assortment as the TF One Optimus that just leaked, based off store listings we've had for a hot minute.

That wouldn't necessarily be SS86 though would it? But would fall into the Live Action Movie SS line, and probably be inline with that specific Movie/aesthetics.
....all SS86 figures share space & assortments with non-86 SS figures, I don't understand what you're think would be different here?

If they felt truly crazy, they could finally give us the DotM Driller and then use Rails as a retool for mold purposes

Has anyone heard anything about when :HASBRO: :TAKARATOMY: are going to show or mention the supposed SS86 Commander class Optimus? I wrongly assumed it would be during those live streams recently.

Its existence hasn't even been announced yet. We only know about it through the usual leakers.

Zero indication officially, but if we go by last year it'll probably be an SDCC reveal like Magnus.

Quiet, you. :-P

CC Optimus Prime will definitely be the type of figure they'll want to make a spectacle out of so SDCC does make the most sense.

It's definitely time to get another G1 Bumblebee figure that's available at mass retail.

Because I'm a fan of show/movie accurate decos, I almost don't like admitting that I'm okay with figures getting the "SS86 treatment" like Blaster, and having to re-purchase characters again. But I suppose if this were to happen with say the Insecticons, I'd probably go for them. Maybe even Reflector.
Now, a character like Grapple? Probably not.

Again, I don't see all characters that haven't been in SS86 getting SS86 releases. I could be wrong, but we're just starting to get re-issues of the ER Coneheads... To put those out again within 2 years, but just in SS86 packaging seems like a bad business call. But who knows.

I still can't come up with any legit (or out-of-left-field) guesses on what Hastak will do for the 40th anniversary of the '86 movie.

I agree with you guys, SDCC seems most likely. I had forgotten that was when SS86 Magnus was shown. Thanks.

Any Canadians who have missed out on the SS86 Ultra Magnus?

Here's your second chance at Amazon.ca. Not the best price, but it's still better than the eBay scalpers.

I’m beyond happy that SS86 Bumblebee has been announced… And with a NEW MOLD…
I can’t wait to see this figure.

Is this supposed to be a release for this year or next?

Transformers is quickly becoming like Marvel Legends, if you miss a character eventually they'll get re-released and probably better.

The Netflix was never "good" for me. The partsforming is bad enough, but the worse are the horrible proportions of the bot mode with that giant torso.

I do hope the new mold will be better.

Hey, SS86 Core Frenzy is only $6.79 (wrong original price plus 20% off) at Target right now. They've been sporadically getting in new SS Core figures all week, this is probably the last one that will show up before the sale ends. https://www.target.com/p/transformers-t ... nk=sametab And he sold out while I was typing... :BANG_HEAD:

This is the first time I've noticed (Red) and (Blue) on the package next to his and Rumble's names.

I’ll admit I had started thinking that the NF figure was going to be the definitive one, so I was pretty frustrated about not being able to get it.
In this case of the NF Bee, I didn’t like the parts forming, and I also agree that the torso is too large.
My gut is telling me that this new version won’t have that issue. We’ll see if the car mode suffers at all, but if it’s just a slightly stylized VW, I’ll be more than okay with that.

He is a 2024 release, yes, we've known this since the whole SS 2024 retail spread leaked back in August.

I have at least the Goldbug version of the mold via the BWBB 4 pack. As Goldbug, that mold is good enough and he looks fine. But as Bee, that's ugly.
And the asking price since Day 1 make that Bee looks revolting.

VW seems to have embraced the Transformers aplenty lately so I'm sure the new mold will still be an officially licenced VW toy, stylised or not. Also, most SS86 toys are pretty much perfect so I'm confident that this new Bee will be good.

On that same note, I'm glad that the BWBB Hound never made it as a SS86, but was rather thrown into the Selects box. That mold is absolute trash IMO. I mean, a stripped down Siege Hound? What a shame.

Yeah, I’d say probably. I know at first the theory was “If it wasn’t seen in the movie, it won’t be packed with the figure”.
Gnaw went against that, and more recently, Blaster has his weapon, and Swoop has those two swords.

I wouldn’t care if Bee wasn’t packed with anything. But there really aren’t any options other than his blaster.
Now watch, he’ll come with a tiny, barely articulated Spike in an exo-suit.

I have Goldbug as well. I don’t mind him with that mold.
I don’t care if this new Bee is an official VW or not; just as long as he looks good in bot mode.
And Hound is slightly underwhelming. I don’t think he’s horrible, but objectively, he’s the weakest out of that 5 pack. I remember being a little bummed that Sunstreaker wasn’t going to be released in SS86, but the new version definitely could have been.

We just got that in the pre-Buzzworthy Core two pack. We also just got a properly scaled Core exo-suit Spike in SS86, I doubt they'd pack him with Bee. Though maybe they could pack him with slug figures of Spike, Daniel and Carley. Or maybe just Spike with an expletive sound chip.

The only downside is that by the time this comes out I'll have hung up my cap on this line, it's slated for reveal in 25 which probably means we'll see it go up late in the year and given how EE has been with PO'd I won't see it till sometime in 26! lol

Part of me really wants to see how this could turn out, yet on the other hand I'm still waiting on a Powerglide update in DLX so I'm not sure exactly how I feel about an all new Bee so soon. But I get it, with him thee are reuse galore while Powerglide not as much.

I've pretty much decided to bow out the end of this year anyway due to not much coming out that appeals to me, and I don't know that I have the conviction to stay up to date on the news so I'll likely just miss them anyway.

Funny, I was just perusing Target's site yesterday for some deals and never once spotted this listing.
Yet I see pages and pages of "partner listings" for triple the price...

I did snag a good deal on Origins Wheeljack though!
