Guys...chill out. It's called *Preview Night* for a reason, the convention doesn't really even start until tomorrow, no panels have been held yet. If you had not seen Unicron on Monday, you'd be expelling your bowels about now. Don't worry. I'm almost positive new Generations and SS reveals will come soon.

We've been through this for how many years now? Preview night shows us mostly what we already know. The panels are held, THEN the really NEW stuff comes.

Isn't that a Studio Series Movie 1 Megatron, or is it just the MP?

It's the MP, but a Japanese site did reveal some new SS figures, so we know more are coming (Arcee triplets, another BB, Soundwave w/laserbeak etc...), whether or not this convention will show them off remains to be seen, but I'm sure we will see something.

There's a Cyberverse panel going on at SDCC and there the female Lugnut lookalike has been revealed to be named "Clobber".

The first panel just ended with coverage of Cyberverse and WFC Siege, including the winner of the fan poll (see that thread). Also some more Amazon exclusives. Apparently there will be another panel later (not sure if later today or Fri/sat/Sun) with Studio Series and Generations reveals for the next line.

We heard at the panel that Mirage Powerdasher Aragon and Decepticon Impacter (aka, Impactor with the IDW almost everyone wanted) was coming but fans wanted a better pic. Well, we have one now. As you can see, he has a both his hands, so you would still need the retail release to get the hook. We also got a really cool new reveal. We have more dino casettes with Gurafi and Noizu, the T-Rex and Pteranodon. These come literally stick with an extra Frenzy and can be preordered on Hasbro Pulse right now for $35. We have a full description below as well. Now I kow what you are thinking, aren't we already getting a Frenzy (blue cassette) reissue this year? Why yes we are and you can see official pics of those Walmart exclusive packs below as well.

We also have official images for Galactic Man Shockwave, Lancer and the Refracktor three pack. Plus, the two amazon battlesets have combining package covers so we included them below for you to see.

Dino Cassette Product Description

Experience the figures that started it all. These Transformers: Vintage G1 Mini-Cassette 3-Pack figures are designed like the original G1 versions -- including figure styling, packaging, and art inspired by the 1987 G1 releases, plus classic tech specs and accessories. (Re)start a vintage Transformers collection with these Noizu, Gurafi, and Decepticon Frenzy figures. Decepticon Frenzy craves spreading fear and destruction. Gurafi is the calmest of his teammates. Beak can tear through 5 cm of steel and has low-powered laser that blinds enemies. Noizu is the most violent of the Dinocassettes. Crumbles steel reinforced bridge supports in a single blow. Noizu and Gurafi combine to form Decibel. Clip out and save the on-box tech specs to share, then see how this figure stacks up against other heroic Autobots and evil Decepticons (each sold separately).

I don't understand what's going on with Frenzy. He's included with Laserbeak AND the dino cassettes. Though, there are some slight differences in the promo pictures, namely sticker placement and the paint apps on his face. Could anyone at SDCC ask the team what's up with all this? :-?

If not than they’re saving studio series for an Asian con or New York comic con in October

I definitely want that 3 pack for the Mirage and Powerdasher but I really am not sure how I'm going to go about it. I might just take the standard release off my list and put an Autobot logo over the Decepticon logo this one has, even if I prefer the other head.

Also I'm really glad to see new Dino Cassette reissues! Patience once again proves the correct strategy!

The Reflector 3 pack is a good idea in theory but something about it just feels off that I can't place. I think I'll just stick with the single release one (partially just to save money)

That Impactor is all that's right in the world. It's amazing how a good head and a bit of paint can completely change my opinion.

Hasbro Officially Reveals the Siege Target Exclusives at #SDCC2019 with Micromaster 10 Pack Names

PostPosted: Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:15 pm

Hasbro had another small reveal event at SDCC which Seibertron attended. This event consisted of officially revealing the two Target exclusive Transformers Siege boxsets and also showing the grey prototype for Unicron, which will be getting a transformation demo soon.

While the Rainmakers are already available at Target, the Micromaster 10 pack is not so this gives us a good look at who exactly we are getting in this pack.

The pack includes:

Road-Police
Wheel Blaze
Nightflight
Slyhopper
Ground Shaker
Overair
Cratermaker
Fireline
Ricon
Irontread

Enjoy the photos below which also include a good look at just how neon the Rainmakers are along with the right alt mode deco for Ionstorm. There are also pics of details from Unicron's sculpt.
