In Selects? Bugbite, technically, since eHobby was responsible for the set that made him and those other Gobot characters canon Transformers characters. I almost said Deep Cover until I checked TFWIki, pre-G1 is not one of my areas of expertise since G1 itself barely is.

Outside of Selects, Sunstorm has received multiple figures since their eHobby origins, including a Masterpiece, so I fail to see why him and/or Detritus being eHobby exclusives originally matters, unless there's some legal nonsense or something that I don't know about.

I specified "not based on a Diaclone or Microman release". The ones that do like Deep Cover and Tigertrack are taking priority over e-Hobby-original decos it seems (to be fair, Bug Bite's white may have been based on a deteriorated video tape that showed his yellow as white). Given historical significance, I can see why.

Or, Bug Bite is white to differentiate him from Bumblebee's yellow.

That too. Could have picked any color, but white was what they saw

There's actually a blue-and-white Prowl on the shelves right now. ;)

Oh yeah, Cyberverse. Haven't seen it in stores before, I don't follow Cyberverse. I would like a G1-comic-accurate Prowl.

Yeah, I figured that's what you meant. I'd love to see some Marvel decos in selects, especially a Ratchet with a red helmet.

Yes! And a blue Perceptor.

I had forgotten how different Perceptor's colors were in the comics, but I'm all for it!

I can't believe it took me this long to think of it, but whenever they get around to making Blaster, there definitely needs to be a version with a comic-accurate head. I've always preferred that look.

Which one? There are 2 different versions in the comics.

Exactly. I'd be fine with a G1 toy-based head too, as they're pretty much the same. As long as it has the visor.

But wait, there is another, and most of us could find him at a local Walgreens taunting us while we were looking for ER Bluestreak (or Siege Ratchet for that matter, he's been a round a while).

Image

Not a great figure, doesn't scale with anything, but he's fun desk toy.

So is Evergreen Prowl blue and white then? As both the authentics and Cyberverse lines were supposed to be based off those designs aren't they?

Good question. Looking up all the known evergreen designs, Prowl isn't shown among them. :-?

Though, only half of Cyberverse Prowl's toy releases are white and blue. The other half are white and black.

That just muddies the waters further.

Forget orange, blue is the new black, ever since the G1 Marvel comics.

Prowl doesn't have an evergreen design that we've seen outside of Cyberverse. And the cyberbattalion toy pictured above predates the authentics line. The other Cyberbattalion figures dont resemble their evergreen designs that much. But maybe Cy reverse used this cyberbattalion design for cues.

Well a big BBTS order came in the other day and along with it my spoiler pack Nemesis Prime! Gosh what a beauty he is. Having bought Earthrise Prime several months ago (and being the most satisfied with a purchase ive ever been in recent memory) so this was my first experience with the Siege mold. Honestly the ER one is a big improvement, it truly is the perfect modern update to a G1 OP. That being said, i think the Siege version really works for NP, the cyber-stylized vehicle lends itself well to the evil shadow version idea. Heck, even his gaping internal chest cube void fits with this motif  Having a bunch of really neat accessories is fun too, cant complain about that. Sadly there isnt anywhere to keep them outside of gearing up the robot mode, unless youre chill with just tossing them all in the trailer

All in all i am happy to have bought the pack for around 60 bucks rather then almost 90 or more for the takara mall one from last spring, this is a better value for sure just at the cost of a little less teal HaHa

Here ya go:

The blasters do fit up top (barely and kinda half-assed, but they do).

But even better is if you use his Blaster and Fangtron as a trailer hitch. Then you can side mount the blasters with swords up top.

Or you can give them to G1 Powermaster Prime, if you have one and he's missing his shoulder guns. Or maybe give them to PoTP leader Prime to complete the truck mode.

I do (well, the 2003 reissue) and, after reading this suggestion of yours, I tested it out and am sad to report that Nemesis's double-barreled cannons cannot attach to G1 PM Prime's upper arms. The cannons' pegs are too short to grip the arm holes.

That's too bad. It would have been a good look, IMO. I have Generations Jetfire's red guns attached to PM Prime's shoulders, and while not accurate color-wise, the shiny-red-on-red looks pretty good.

Well, I got notice that my SG set shipped from Pulse today, so the last of the ER Selects should now be headed out to everyone

Yeah! Charged and shipped hours apart and scheduled to arrive Saturday, looks like the old Pulse is back. What's really funny is it's still listed as a pre-order scheduled for Feb first so it'll technically be in hand before the release date.

A two-fold, SELECTS specific question. I have a friend that is Really into the Seekers. Specifically Starscream is his favourite character. But he loves them all. In light of this line however,

Starscream (leader)
Acid Storm
Bitstream
Blackout
Dirge
Hotlink
Ion Storm
Nacelle
Nova Storm
Ramjet
Red Wing
Sandstorm
Skywarp
Slipstream
Sunstorm
Thundercracker
Thrust
Wheezing Arrow
Itami Prime

Via TFWiki, here is the list of every named Seeker to date. Nineteen, in total. As for the question. One, would you like them all to be represented by a figure? Given some sets have already been represented separately in SIEGE and Earthrise. Part two of the question, would you buy this many mold variants?

Personally, I love army builders but I don't know if the Seekers would qualify? :-?
