Tonight's Preview Night was the beginning of San Diego Comic-Con. Hasbro's amazing booth featured their primary brands including Transformers. Combiner Wars and Robots In Disguise were on display, though most of it was also on display at BotCon 2015. The most exciting products on display were the current and upcoming Transformers Combiner Wars figures including Sky Lynx, Hound, Smokescreen, Trailbreaker, Legends Shockwave, Leader Skywarp and many more. Sky Lynx is all i want. I'm beyond stoked for that release. Nothing else tops it.

Sky-Lynx looks decent. The rest look awful. I'll probably buy 'Lynx and forget about the silly and costly combining gimmick.

Hound is the only one of those Autobot deluxes that looks to have missed the mark. Guess it's a good way to get the character out to those that weren't around for Universe 2.0, but, eh, kind of feels forced.

Legends Shockwave looks like a must-get. Shame that's not a deluxe.

Pipes doesn't look like Pipes, but somehow, that blue on the Legends OP + Huffer head is really neat. Call that any other random name except Pipes and it'd probably be more of a hit. I'll call him Pepsi Convoy. Or maybe just Cola Convoy since there's no logo.

So what's the deal with Buzzsaw? Is this the first of some sort of "Real Gear"-style subline? And is the 3rd mode supposed to be some sort of truck? (It appears to have wheels.)

The display case they're using for the "Devs versus everyone else" diorama looks like something straight out of a Revenge of the Fallen toy commercial.

It kinda looks like the Battlebot Vlad the Impaler to me...just with two of those forked flippers.

That's the same hand-painted sample as was seen at BotCon. Far from being final.
