Another place to check on long island is Androids amazing comics in sayville, they will be getting these and the wave 3 prime masters in either this week or next week. The owner said if they sell and if theres enough demand for them he'll start to stock transformers on a regular basis.

I'm the opposite. One of the reasons I haven't gone for any PotP figures yet is that I think the new hand piece is terrible. Say what you will about the HFG, it's at least got the right number of fingers. Am I the only one who thinks the Prime Armor hands are a step down?

If you guys have a bunch of Walgreens in your areas you can find the wave 2 deluxes. It might take a few different stores due to the way they distribute product though. BBTS also has Rippersnapper for $10 currently. Amazon itself seems to finally be getting them in stock now too since I just picked up two Moonracer from them a few hours ago for retail.

I actually agree with both of you in this particular case. I prefer the CW HFG's in general, but since Blast Off is a CW mold, he doesn't even have any pegs that Megatronus could be placed on. The bonus prime master is completely incompatible with the rest of the package where a PotP fist at least would have given you the option for a prime master hulk hand. I'm still getting him, and I'll probably just leave Megatronus in the package so I won't lose him.

You know, it just dawned on me that, with the addition of the five new Potpie combiners (non-Titan class ones, that is) to the way I have laid out my plans for every CW and UW combiner, the ratio of 3 Autobot Potpie combiners to two Decepticon Potpie combiners means that I'm gonna end up with one extra Autobot combiner with no matching Decepticon combiner for it to square off against.

...Unless I decide to make the extra combiner crazy enough to take on both Devastator and Predaking at the same time.

Looks like CW and UW Blast off aren't leaving their shelves like ever when I get them. I love everything about this version. from the G1 toy accurate deco to how they kept the UW gun on the Hasbro release. Hopefully POTP Punch/Counterpunch and Repugnus come in the same type of awesome box this guy comes in.

Sure does, especially since the box says "Prime Wars Trilogy" at the top and the inner flap gives a quick explanation of CW.

I plan on getting Blastoff, partly because I already have three uses of the mold so I feel a need to complete the team, partly because I like the G1 toy looks of it, and partly because I like the way Megatronus looks. And if this really is a Trilogy set then I'll also need it to complete that set. I suppose I should get the rest of the Hasbro Combaticons while at least Onslaught is still cheap.

I just realized that, looking at Blast Off's packaging, he's not a Power of the Primes toy, but a Combiner Wars toy. By which I mean his packaging sports no POTP logo but does sport a very large and noticeable CW logo in addition to both a "Generations" logo and a "Prime Wars Trilogy" logo, but which are more all-encompassing logos as opposed to the line-specific CW logo.

They kinda had to keep the gun since it becomes the front landing gear in shuttle mode

Man it's moments like this that make me wish I lived in America. Plus making me wish the conversion rates from there to Australia weren't as complete and utter bollocks as they are. Plus the bat crap outrageous postage costs.

In semi-related news, the Rippersnapper I ordered from BBTS should be delivered today but I’m leaving for military stuff this morning and won’t be back until tomorrow night so the wait will kill me.

Does anybody else have Hun Gurr preordered on BBTS? I have had it there for about 2 months now and was wondering if anybody knew what was going on since it originally was supposed to hit last month....

Just so you know, if you have gmail, you don't need to create multiple email addresses to get new coupon codes from HTS.

I've used this method to get 20% off twice. I used the same email address both times and I still don't get emails from HTS, but I got the discount both times.

I've had Wave 2 dlx's since last Feb. Is it okay to be annoyed that wave 3 is taking so long release?

You see that was all part of my strategy though. To (through the power of will) something into being released. It happens more often then I'd like to admit

I'd go hit your Walmart today or sometime soon thereafter if you want wave 3 deluxes. Just saw them and they're around in many stores here with most getting a case, some two cases.

I say do it now because they're probably going to restock with an absolute overkill on wave 2 later in the summer/early fall.
