Easiest thing in the world to touch up. A friend of mine likes to use black shoe polish to bring out the details on his vehicles and droids (he's a Star Wars collector). It gives the plastic a metallic sheen and sinks into the lines making them nice and black. I usualy prefer to do a wash with black or gunmetal paint, but it's the same idea. Smear something dark into the cracks and wipe it off of the tops.
Blackout looks like he'd take to this treatment extremely well. (especially his hands!)

This is why a new generation will learn the meaning of Decepticon. It's great. I'm gonna be busy getting all these Transformers. So I know what I'm planning to do the rest of this year.

Just fyi.

Thanks for that, I actually didn't know that. All the pics I've seen have the giant chopper part fixed to his back. Have you any links, kind Sir?

i'm to lazy at the moment to find the link, but if you scroll through the forum and find the other thread about blackout and look at the pictures in there, there is one
where the copter part is being held like a gun. So it has to either be detatchable or could swing in some manner

i got over it...here's the link. Look at the 8th picture down.

That looks very unwieldy, and all it could do would create a very, very strong tornado. Then again, that could be why all those tanks are flying around in the preview(no spoilers if you know different). It still looks cool though.

Anyway, Blackout looks like a very good movie figure.

Well... I won the auction. I've loved the idea of Blackout (and his scene in the trailer just makes him even cooler) and have never thought of owning a test shot so I went crazy and bought it! I'm pretty excited to get my hands on it. If anyone wants pics after it arrives, let me know.

Figure arrived today!!! Overall its a great figure. The transformation is satisfying... it has a little bit of the Automorph technology. When you pull the legs down his head swings up (hard to explain). The only problem is its tricky to get everything to line back up when changing back to helicopter mode. He does have flip down feet in the back to balance the figure if need be, and the helicopter blades look pretty bad ass when he's holding it. I love Blackout and I love this figure. This is a must have.
