New Preorders on Hasbro Pulse for Kingdom Line and Takara Exclusive Dad Bod Prime

Pulse has some new preorders up and since they have been quite the reliable retailer of late, we know fans in the US like to be aware of when hot items come up. They put up preorders for Kingdom Waspinator and Shadow Panther, both coming out in November, as well as Tigatron which comes out in December.

The bigger news though would be that they are now the main place to get the Takara exclusive Optimus Prime figure made from the Kingdom Magnus inner bot which comes with a tensegrity stand. This set is $61.99 but you can buy the stands for $16.99 a piece a instead. You have until October 27 to preorder this item.

One very important note is that these stands have a lot of assembly required. And the product info page states that everything is released as it is in Japan. There is no indication that Hasbro has translated the Japanese instructions on how to build the stands. So fair warning.

Really happy to hear that Tigatron is still coming out this year in the US. I want Big Cat so badly

Ordered Shadow Panther, Waspinator, and Optimus Prime. Not sure why they're calling it a Masterpiece, I can't find any other retailer calling it that.

If you missed pre-ordering Kingdom Blaster/Eject, it's back up on the Hasbro Pulse website!

If you're lucky, you won't have to scrounge stores, nor call stores to try and get those dead-head clerks to check and find out if they're on the shelf!

Seriously - it sold out WAY too quick the first time...
(update) And it's sold out again already. Hasbro Pulse must not have very MANY of the figures they're pushing...

This is why I'm not renewing Premium. The back in stock notice was so buried under all the fan first announcements that it was barely noticeable. Anything that has ever interested me on pulse sells out hours before I ever find out about it. If I have to have the back in stock page opened at all times, refreshing every 15 minutes, then what's the point of emails to begin with? For $50 I got nothing of value for their service, and could find their in-stock stuff for cheaper elsewhere, free-shipping included. Not to mention their emails are becoming more and more obnoxious with the faux "hip social media" lingo. At least I have him pre-orderd on BBTS. I don't need any more store credit anyway.

Studio Series Leader Sludge is available for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse! I got mine - so if you want to get yours, hurry over! Otherwise, you could wind up staring at that blasted "SOLD OUT" banner for months!

https://hasbropulse.com/collections/new ... bot-sludge

But wait - there's MORE! Go to the "New" tab, and you'll find yet more figures available:

https://hasbropulse.com/collections/new

Including many of the Studio Series Bumblebee movie figures (Ironhide, Arcee, etc), Buzzworthy/Studio Series Kup (Cliffjump is sold out already), and also Studio Series 86 Movie Voyager Junkheap! Avoid that "SOLD OUT" sign and cull your faves before it's too late! And remember - there is no supply line crisis! ;)

Kup is sold out too. I wanted all three so I'll try my luck with Target. The Beast Wars Retro versions of Tigatron and Scorponok are also available. Had those gone up on Walmart.com yet?

No, but Vintage Scorponok is still available on Hasbro Pulse, along with vintage Tigatron. And I'm surprised, but Junkheap and Sludge haven't sold out yet. Normally with Hasbro Pulse, you only have five minutes to do your pre-order before everything gets sold out, and then you have to wait another six months for them to re-stock...

Latest Hasbro Pulse Update has New Studio Series Preorders + Exclusives and Core Hot Rod Available

PostPosted: Wed Mar 02, 2022 1:07 am

Hasbro Pulse made a big update. They got a lot of exclusives in, not just for preorder but shipping out. Sadly, the most coveted ones sold out immediately, those being Buzzworthy Kup and Cliffjumper (once again, who would have thought that the Buzzworthy Bee line had the most wanted toys of all). The exclusive mask free Buzzworthy Cybertronian Bumblebee (B127) is still available though. As are the latest Beast Wars reissues.
They also have Core Class Hot Rod and Soundwave which is great since those have been a bit tough for people to find in stores and are not stocked as readily online. So you can finish your Kingdom collection just in time for your Legacy collection to begin.
Also, we have preorders for the latest Studio Series reveals, which would be wave 2 of 2022. That includes Bumblebee Movie Arcee, Ironhide, SS86 Sludge and SS86 Junkheap.

All of these are found at this link: https://hasbropulse.com/collections/new

These preorders are also live at the other online collectible stores and we will post them throughout the week in the sponsor news.

Oddly I can't place orders on Pulse UK at the moment, when I put in all of my details it keeps coming up with an error message and the transaction doens't go through. This only started after I changed my shipping address, so it may have something to do with that. Fortunately, I managed to get a pre-order for Sludge in at Kapow Toys instead.

Does anyone have the BeastWar Scorponok re-issue? I had the original G1 version back in the day (before selling it), and I remember the tail being the most annoying thing about this figure in robot mode. It didn't fold up anywhere, and had to remain hanging off his back, huge, obtrusive and back-heavy in the 90s extreeeeeeeme.

But the photos of the re-issue on Pulse look like the tail is folded away somewhere - or was completely removed. It looks like they angled the arm to simply HIDE most of the tail. Or is this just a case of photoshopped false advertising....?

It's just the angle of the photo. The tail is behind the left arm. You can see the stinger protrude from behind his left claw.

It's still just as unwieldy as it always was.
