Well, as far as the forums and hardcore fans go, Sweep and Junkion troop building were never a thing contrary to the sharkticons.

I didn't mean why are they bundled "together." I meant, why are they bundled at all? Those two sold out pretty damn quickly, especially Gnaw. There shouldn't be any overstock.

Not in the US, where Gnaw was a pegwarmer. And all these bundle listings are for US walmarts. We don't know if they will be made available in other markets.

But anyways, Gnaw is getting rereleased in 2023.

It's very surprising that beloved classic TROOP BUILDER managed to pegwarm.

I think Hasbro over produced him anticipating that but may have over done it. He's still available at the usual online stores.

Well, that's not the case in Canada. Over here, Gnaw was like a drop of water on a hot pan. He barely appeared on the shelves and in online stores, sold out quickly, then was never seen again.

My neck of the woods must be some long lost Canadian territory since I barely saw Gnaw anywhere. I managed to get about five of him from stores, but hunting just those five took a LOT of time and effort. He wasn't easy to find.

Out of the 5 Wal-marts near me, I only saw a Gnaw once. Theys at least 4 Skids at them all right now though(the only Legacy figure) and a few SS Airrazor's. Also 4 or 5 orange Jazz.

The only one of these I am even tempted by is Sideways and 86 Arcee. Although I don't want to replace my :TAKARATOMY: Legends Arcee, Sideways is one of the few movie style figures I like.

Gnaw could have pegwarmed due to his size or most people just having army built titans returns/quint pit versions making him a bit superfluous

If I had 20 TR Legends Gnaws, I would have gotten 10 SS86 deluxe Gnaws. To finish this, I would have gotten 40 of these tiny-changers rubber-like Cyberverse Gnaws. Then, I would have put the deluxe ones on the front of the display, the legends in the middle, and the tiny ones on the back, making an EPIC display of an endless gnaw horde coming with the forced perspective.
8-)

Same, hardly ever saw Gnaw. But Sweeps and Junkions yes. Local stores still have Junkions actually.

You saw a bit of him in my post with all the SS Ratchets, but I updated my paint work and gallery of SS DOTM Ratchet!

The 4K videos have made finding exact details much easier, so I was able to tweak things to get them more accurate! Particularly with the text on the lower legs.

So, I got my Mirage in hand at last.

And, he is such a huge disappointment. He was the Lead! He is my favorite TF Character now! And this is the toy we got. It's sad, he is very non-posable thanks to all the kibble, and while the alt mode is nice, and this is the only toy with his proper head sculpt (only 3 toys too...), he is just very underwhelming.

The main issue is the doors on the hips, they get in the way of everything, and there really isn't a good way to get them out of the way.

Honestly, I would have preferred a generic car in order to get a better bot mode, so the car didn't need preserved like this.

Sorry to go on for a bit, but I love this character, and his toy is just so lame.

The toy looked lame from the get go, but I'm glad to get further confirmation from someone who owns it. I won't be getting the ss toy of him, nightbird or wheeljack

I gow SS Nightbird and appart her humongous backpack and the fact that she only have one sword, she's pretty nice and fun.

Mirage, I may consider him, but only on sale and for me, he'll be another character. To truly do justice to Mirage, only a Unique Toys MP scale figure may succeed.

Nightbird I can at least soft recommend, she is the best toy of the character, and in hand the toy isn't that bad. Maybe on sale get her.

Wheeljack, I really don't see how the SS toy is more than a lateral movement from the mainline toy, so I could go either way there at the moment.

I only need Wildrider from any of these and I already have two Knockouts. Everything else I already have and have all the multiples I want of them. Although I might want another Ironhide and Ratchet though for some customs but they're in different sets unfortunately. It would've been great if Wildrider came with Shrapnel or if Shrapnel was an option at all.

As for Gnaw, I don't think I ever seen him in store. Maybe once. I have three of them currently and that's all I want. I know I got one on Amazon and another in a lot on Ebay. The last one might have been from a store. I just know I was mad when I could only find the one at first. It took awhile for me to track down the other two. I might still pick that set up if only to have a second Jazz in case he breaks. I definitely don't want another Gnaw though. I troopbuild three at most usually but that's not the only problem. I have three of the oversized and three of the undersized SS86 Gnaws as well. So getting another standard deluxe Gnaw would throw everything off. And I don't need him to stand around as I have three each of Energon, Botcon, IGear, TR, TL, PoJ and MFT. Also a Sharkticon Megatron and Hellwarp to lead them on top of a bunch of Turbo Changer ones. I even started troopbuilding smaller Sky Bytes for the voyager to lead (getting 3 Botcon Sky Bytes is proving to be a pain though as I don't even have one yet lol). Not to mention the Energon Terrorcons I've been troopbuilding, Alicons (6 standard, 3 PoJ and 3 Buzzworthy...so far), Deseeus Drones (6...7...8? I forget how many), Quintessons (3 PoJ as it's the only one I was ever able to find, 3 Cyberverse and Alpha Q) and whatever else I have to go with them too like maybe 3 Sparkless Seekers and 3 Sparkless Barricade.

The Sweeps and Junkions (despite what one Youtuber in this area keeps saying) didn't shelfwarm in this area either. IF they did it wasn't for long.

Why would they? These are repacks of existing mass retail product from two lines that are still ongoing. Cosmos was part of the Velocitron line, which was an exclusive line, has been dead since last year, and even had a completely different packaging style from these.

Also, most of these are shelfwarmers / overstocks.

I guess depends where you are. In Upstate New York at least, Tarantulas, ELita-1, Knockout and Wild Rider were no where to be seen in stores.

And pretty sure these are re-issues. Because I know on a Hasbro Pulse from about 6 months ago, that straight up said they were going to Re-issue Tarantulas because he was so hard to find.

Tarantulas has already been reissued and that release comes in a different box under the evolution line, you can already buy it here https://hasbropulse.com/products/transf ... tarantulas

These Walmart Bundles are not reissues or else they would also be in new boxes

With Mohawk on the way, let's take a look at Dreadbot!

How would you like to see him in the line, do you think he could be a Crowbar retool or a new mold? We just saw a very similar VW van in the line with ROTB Wheeljack's alt mode, so hopefully licensing shouldn't be an issue!

Interesting note though, Dreadbot doesn't have a VW logo in alt mode, it's replaced with a big Decepticon badge! I could almost see them being able to pull him off unlicensed, but what do you think?

I believe they can retool Wheeljack into Dreadbot. And the fact that wheeljack has a fake torso and the way his wings are designed, makes me thing they kinda thought of this already.

Same. And it would be perfect for me since I would be vying mainline wheeljack in my movie collection and thus have more mold variation

Rumor has it they're for Black Friday, but we don't yet know for certain since they technically haven't actually been formally announced yet. We only know about them currently from leaks.

We actually just got a report that they may be stocked on the 12th and 13th of this month and are meant for the general holiday season rather than specifically Black Friday.

We now have a bit more info on the multitude of bundles coming to Walmart soon. These are all deluxes from 2021 and 2022 which Hasbro has not sold yet, being bundled according to the wave they came in. You can see most of them below and there are still a few we don't know of yet. The new info we have to report is from a Walmart employee who says that these are meant for the holiday shopping season, no just Black Friday and they should be on shelves as soon as:
- individual stores get stock
- the planogram is updated for the holiday season.
The price point will be $24.97 for 2 and this promotion appears to be US only.
