Leader Class Optimus Primal.

Pretty cool all around. Though not sure he needed two sets of hands that are very hard to tell apart.
Swords are very cool. Very classic.

Articulation is great. Gorilla mode is a bit less articulated though.

I would have preferred a face mask gimmick over the "chains" though.

Well the Star Wars Black Series figures for their A Level assortment got revealed today, despite not releasing until Summer 2024 like the Studio Series A Level assortment (86 Bee and MV8 OP), and they're just....normal Black Series figures of Vader and Mando/Din Djarin at their standard price point (I'm not versed in the intricacies of that line, but they might even be straight rereleases?): https://collider.com/darth-vader-mandal ... es-images/

Based on that, seems like the Studio Series ones are very likely to just be normal Deluxes (despite getting their own dedicated assortment) and Bee could still potentially just be a Netflix repack, unless the rules for this new assortment aren't consistent across the lines.

There are very slight differences to the Black Series figures so SW fans don't feel shame buying them over, and over, and over.

Mando is slightly different but I think the Vader is identical.

Considering Transformers’ implementation of A-list, I wonder if that’s how they could fit in the AOE and TLK Bumblebees in Studio Series!

In case you missed it, at the end of the 1027 Transformers segment they mentioned Studio Series reveals would be coming this weekend from Comic Con London.

I’m hoping to find Scourge at Target within the next 3 weeks…
There are 2 toy promos going on which would make him under $35.

New photos are emerging online of Studio Series Gamerverse WFC Starscream and Scrapheap. This is our first look at Starscream and early reactions to these early photos have been rough. You can see a comparison to the original WFC game model below, let us know what you think. Both should be officially revealed tomorrow.

Funny that, I posted some of these in the 86 and Gamer Edition forums

The deluxe FOC Starscream definitely remains unbeaten.

I ain't got time to make 2 distinct news stories, so in the general thread it goes

I really dislike how the lines in the cockpit make it look unusually organic, like wasp anatomy as someone mentioned. But I guess it sort of kind of fits the time when Starscream possessed thr Predacon in another universe? Whatever the case the vehicle mode is messed up beyond the cockpit.

I agree with all of that. So far I have none of these gamerverse figures in my collection and I guess it'll stay that way.

i hope this is just an early mock up because it looks like there's missing details on the upper chest

Ok yeah he’s cool looking but what is that cockpit?? To me, it almost looks like a hackneyed attempt at replicating the body glow that the character model emits from the area (since it’s technically not supposed to be a cockpit). Still want him and the (hopefully) inevitable Thundercracker and Skywarp. Their mission from WFC is one of my faves of the two games.

This toy is ready for distribution, this is the final toy.

Those missing parts (which you can see on the box render) are included in the small bag of accessories on the back according to the redditor who took the pics.

Compared to both the game model and the old toy, that cockpit is way too big and bubble-like.

Yeah, I'm with everyone else regarding the size of that cockpit. It just looks all wrong.

Worth repeating. He comes with proper shoulder details, they just weren't attached in these shots. He has a large club weapon (whatever it was called) and not just a skinny rifle, too. Would have prefered the gatling guns, though.

I think he looks fine overall, but he definitely needs a replacement canopy, I have no idea how they let it get all the way through production.

Oof, that altmode is... really not great. It's like someone stretched it out or shrunk the wings. Or both.

I wouldn't mind if the body was longer than normal if the wings were larger to better balance things out.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............

Before dismissing that new Starscream completely, I took a look at some pictures.

The vehicle mode of that Studio Series Starscream is on point with the concept art.

Image

But to follow the concept art for the bot mode, he would have needed a fake cockpit for his chest.

Image

Same thing for the CGI.
There's also that "wasp butt" texturing.

Image

Finally, the cockpit is still huge on the deluxe original.

Image

In the end, I think we find that SS-G Screamers odd looking simply because we are too used to the original deluxe. SS-G Screamers may be better than we think. Let's hope he'll also be a joy to transform without annoying bits that tends to pop off.
