Thank you! I think Megatron would have been a good pick too, maybe a future frozen NBE-1 retool will include Frenzy? That'd be cool!

I could get behind this, I have always loved "Ice Megatron"

I have the metallic Best Buy-exclusive version. It's an okay figure.

Best Look at Upcoming Studio Series leader Optimus Primal

Thanks to a new review, we have our best look yet at the upcoming Studio Series leader Optimus Primal. The review shows that the transformation is very involved for every limb, something which has not been the case with any Rise of the Beasts Optimus Primal toy. This gives us a good look at the scale of the figure compared to Optimus Prime. You'll let us know if it works well enough for you. With the Studio Series line, the focus was always on robot mode scale rather than alt mode scale but with the beast wars characters being more prominent in their beast forms in the film, that may yield conflicting results for some.

Wow. Way smaller than I thought definitely not leader class size same as the Prime voyager. I may cancel my preorder til I see in person.

Definitely one of those “accessories make it ‘Leader Class’” toys. He looks great and I do want those accessories for Prime and Battle Trap

People didn't seem to mind paying voyager price for voyager primal, and this primal looks like a leader compared to that one.

And Voyager Primal is smaller than the average Voyager.

It's interesting how the lower body's transformation scheme for the mainline is much better (better legs & gorilla back "curvature" that fans are nuts about) than SS. I wonder if these toy designers ever compare notes. Imagine if the mainline & SS (or include the Japanese too, since they should all be TakaraTomy?) designers saw each other's transformation sketches and thought..."hmm.... better switch between the Voyager & Leader. No one will mind the exposed feet at the calves for Voyager, and using the "hide-the-feet-inside the-legs transformation make the Leader PERFECT and thus justify a much higher price with a slightly bigger toy! Win-win I say!"

I did not say otherwise. I said people didn't seem to mind his size for a voyager.

Studio Series Snarl Finally Being Found at US Retail Along with Brawn and Game Cliffjumper

While many fans have had Studio Series 86 leader class Snarl for a while, he has only popped up at US retail recently. We have had a few reports of him found at Gamestop and he appears to be in solid cases (then again, that might just be a Gamestop thing). Speaking of Studio Series, we also have word that the latest deluxes have been found in the US, but this time at Walmart. The new deluxes are SS 86 Brawn and Cliffjumper from the video game series (based on the previously released Bumblebee). We also got word that these deluxes are appearing in Singapore at collectible stores such as the one found in the international airport.

We thank all the fans who submitted their sightings. Below are video reviews of these toys if you want to know as much as possible about them before buying them.
Some of these latest releases are also in stock at Seibertron's store.

I really do think Scourge may be my favorite SS figure of the year so far

Not for me though. The transformation is fiddly, there's that weak point to be aware of, and he feels too hollow and flimsy to be worth full leader price. So far, no SS figures have blown me away. That also include SS86 and SSG. Maybe Leader ROTB Optimus Primal will be it? That remains to be seen.

Why is that "RotB leader" even necessary. There is no other Scourge in SS this year.

And he feels good, I love posing him around and messing with him. He's a helluva lot better than SS86 Snarl I can tell you that, and he is much more fun than Armada Megs sadly. It's kinda him and Legacy Skyquake for best leader of the year.

I removed the picture and often, it's hard to keep track of everything that comes out in a year.
There's also the newcomers that we have to keep in mind.
