So, I had a strange thought earlier today while I was going over the rumors for Legacy. Assuming we actually are getting a new set of Stunticons (I'm waiting until they officially unveil the name before I fully believe ANY of the rumors), and assuming the Shattered Glass line does well enough with the rumored Jetfire repaint, what would everyone think of HasTak releasing SG Stunticons, with the new color schemes being taken from the Autobots who impersonated the Stunticons in Masquerade? So an Optimus colored Motormaster, Mirage colored Drag Strip, Jazz colored Dead End, Windcharger colored Wildrider, and a Sideswipe colored Breakdown. I think it'd be a kinda neat idea with a pretty good source for the colors. Plus, it'd be nice to start getting some SG Combiners, and generally good to get some more SG Decepticons cause if the line up is correct, it'll be Blurr, Prime, Ratchet, Goldbug, and Jetfire, vs Megatron and Starscream

That's basically saying Siren is a retool of Nightbeat then. Shame, they're nothing alike, it would take a lot more than a new Headmaster to make Siren work.

Should make a new body Siren at retail and then Minerva and Go Shooter can be Selects.

Let's see if they actually go with the name Siren or Loudmouth.

I went over to the rumours thread on TFW to see what things have been said for Legacy, and I didn't know there was a leaked store listing for a Leader Class TF: Prime Optimus Prime, how long ago did that come up? Either way I'm having it, along with the Arcee and Knock Out if they are indeed happening. As for the Headmaster Jrs, a Minerva would be nice.

Is there any chance this is happening because Go Shooter is in the mainline under a Westernized name, and Siren is a Selects release from that mold?

Regardless, hopefully this means the other missing Bots and Cons from that year have better chances of showing up as well, that'll make a number of people happy.

It's not their looks that really matter, but rather how they transform. In that sense, Siren and Nightbeat are identical, but flipped back-to-front. Kinda like CW Onslaught vs. CW Hot Spot. Even then, new chest, head and light bar, presto.

Which is probably too much of a retool to expect from Selects.

Speaking of Selects, because Hosehead and his Masterforce counterpart (Cab), are virtually identical, I cant see them doing a selects release of that character, however Shuta and Minerva from Siren and Nightbeat, I think would be a slam dunk.

If Hasbro doesn't do a Minerva (there's a decent possibility they do one, she's no more obscure than the Diaclone repaints, Powerdashers, and Red Wing), I would seriously consider buying an extra Nightbeat and paying someone to customize it into Minerva.

Not if they're switch-out molds like Bumblebee and Cliffjumper are. Hasbro is limited to what's already designed and produced.

Not to mention if they already have Siren planned as an exclusive, the vehicle shell budget could be allotted to a pretool (especially since Siren and Nightbeat are very simple transformations that don't require faux-parts). It could even be the same CaD file for the vehicle shell, just sliced up differently.

Remold/Retools of Titans Returns figures?

New molds, most likely. Like how Apeface and Snapdragon were new molds but still had Titan Master compatibility.

Leak talk on the other site got stamped out so I might move full time here. Is there a discussion on past 2022 already?

Personally I'm excited to see if they're continuing the aesthetics established in WFC, or if it's going to be a bit more like Prime Wars where it had nods to the originals, but was functionally an update. I'm fine with either approach for most characters, but there are some where I'd prefer HasTak to take cues from Studio Ox/IDW (specifically the Stunticons)

I think WFC was a fresh slate of "reboot" in a sense, and all future lines will adhere to that style and quality, or at least Legacy.

On the Studio Series side of things, Breakaway is a 2023 Studio Series voyager.

Shame all that got shut down, there was good stuff going on over there. I've been lurking leaks on TFW and reposting them here since Earthrise just to try to keep as many people informed and excited as possible, so I saw both leak threads and they were a heck of an experience as an outsider looking in.

In terms of my wants:
-The Shattered Glass stuff has been great so far, hopefully we get more waves for it and/or at least more Selects to keep it going (hoping for Soundwave, Grimlock, Wheeljack, & Sideswipe)
-Beast Wars is continuing to get stuff next year, yay
-Prime is getting stuff next year, yay
-SS86 Deluxe Class Insecticons, yay (I've been campaigning for bigger Insecticons since WFC started)
-The weirdness with Studio Series is interesting, I personally have no investment any more since I've run out of interest in movie bots but I'm curious to see how it'll affect what's available/gets made as a whole
-Hopefully UT stuff at some point, as that was my G1 equivalent and last I saw it mentioned was "it's supposed to be happening sooner rather than later but we don't know who/what it is"

...Of course, this is all assuming based on your username and initial post that you are in fact the individual I believe you to be. :-?

The main Shattered Glass characters I'd still like to see are Soundwave (preferebly with a Ravage) and Rodimus. A Grimlock would also be nice, but perhaps not from the Studio Series 1986 mould, because it doesn't really fit the character in my opinion.

-Hopefully UT stuff at some point, as that was my G1 equivalent and last I saw it mentioned was "it's supposed to be happening sooner rather than later but we don't know who/what it is"

It would be nice to get a new Vector Prime, Demolishor and Red Alert (ideally give Red Alert a sound box that plays the same "RED ALERT WOOOWOOWOOWOOWOOWOOWOO" sound that the original did, but that's probably wishful thinking). I do wonder if Mini-Cons would still be a thing if we get new Unicron Trilogy toys? As far as I've heard the War for Cybertron Micromasters were successful so there is a market out there for tiny bots.

Is it a wish of yours, or do you have some Nostradamus skills?

Regardless, I'm down for a voyager Breakaway. The OG deluxe was pretty damn fine with an unique bot mode. Like a enhanced Gerwalk. Seeing the thing improved with modern engineering with voyager size and budget will make the thing very interesting.

That's not a wish, I am somewhat of a Nostradamus. I'm the same guy who broke the rumor for Legacy/Stunticons on TFW but I have zero means of actually logging onto my original account here. Can't find or remember the email I used as a kid.

Pretty sure that this is one of the TFW leakers coming over here (either that, or someone impersonating him).

Assuming he's the real deal, I am very pleased about the confirmation of Breakaway.

Takara made that post at the start of the Year of the Rat that people read as a MP Rattrap hint, right? I'm probably wrong but all MP production slowed down in 2020 (I really don't keep up with the MP scene, however).

My bet is that MP BW is being held on to until after Kingdom is done, that way people wouldn't be weighing a new MP against a new CHUG figure.

I’m SUPER excited at the possibility of Breakaway, I really like that design.

I’m curious when we’ll learn more about 2022 for Bayverse Studio Series, from rumors it seems to be like this year with not a lot of releases, but there’s ones I’m really excited about if they pan out (DOTM and High Octane Bees, Evasion Prime)
