Do you think You could be the new Marketing Manager of Hasbro?

After the recent news of the name Spastic having to be changed and possibly thousands of boxes being reprinted, Hasbro Has appeared to have fired their Global Transformers Brand Marketing Manager, and are now offering up that position to all of you. That's right, if you meet the following requirements you could be working for Hasbro in their executive office. If you have-
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in consumer packaged goods marketing, preferably supporting a global brand.
* Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
* MBA preferred.
* Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:
o Expertise at implementation of a fully integrated marketing program.
o International experience and global perspective.

Critical Skills:

* Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
* Expertise in transforming a strategy and vision into actionable plans.
* Expertise in developing world class, leading edge media, licensing, advertising and promotions campaigns.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
* Well developed, verbal, written and presentation skills.

If anyone here is lucky enough to actually get this job as GLOBAL marketing manager, please remember to give Europe and the UK a LOT MORE Transformers love!

It's sickening and pathetic to keep seeing what is warming our shelves over here in contrast to what the USA and Japan are getting and have been getting for years.

Sadly they would never give the job to a fan, even if they meet the required criteria. It'll probably go to some stereotypical unimaginative, black suited, brown nosed, executive 'yes man' type.

Count your blessings, Here in qatar most of the Transformers we get are the Transformers that shelfwarmed in the UK. . .

Yeah, sorry, I certainly didn't mean to leave any other countries or continents out intentionally. Man, that REALLY sucks... Anyway, like MightyMagnus78 already's mentioned, the people they choose for these kinds of jobs usually don't have a clue as to what they're actually marketing and have even less heart for their products or their customers wishes.
