How do you make this news exciting? It's quite hard, and I am failing miserably. So...

Here's the gist and the list:

1. Constructicon Devastator
http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/content.php?/transformers-trademarks/USPTO/76689207/CONSTRUCTION+DEVASTATOR/CONSTRUCTION+DEVASTATOR.html

2. Optimus Primal
http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/content.php?/transformers-trademarks/USPTO/76689205/OPTIMUS+PRIMAL/OPTIMUS+PRIMAL.html

Thanks to 'TF at the Moon' for that information. http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/content.php?/transformers-news/story/7134/EXCLUSIVE:+New+Transformers+Trademark+Applications

Hey, it should make us happy, it could mean that a favorite 'Boss bot' and combining terror could be making their way back into the toy ranks (or other areas) in the next year. Yes, I said it... COMBINER! All speculation of course!

Given that Cheetor is getting a classics makeover for the 25th anniversary line, it doesn't surprise me that Primal will be getting one too.

Hopefully it's a reissue constructicon giftset.

Hm, what is Hasbro scheming now? I can't wait to see what they have in store for Primal.

there were rumors for Primal in animated.
unless Primal is also in 25th.
And Hasbro said no Devastator in Animated...
but didnt they say they were going to try putting them in?
Or... Is Devastator in 25th or Universe?
Either way, awesome.
Constructicon Devastator, good that Hasbro didn't just put Decepticon in front.

Then again, it could be a neon-green and deep-purple repaint of Leader-class Brawl... :-P

Blasphemy!!!

What I'd love to see is either a Universe or 25th Anniv version that is an updated version of the G1 Constructicons - with all six of 'em as deluxe class figures. That would rock and would look fantastic with the other Classics.

IMO none of the available options for Dev do it for me. Micromaster is probably the best of the bunch, but the scale is wonky compared to the Classicsverse figs that I have.

The Universe repaint of Build King is what I am currently using b/c the scale is right. The huge down side with those is that you loose Mixmaster and Scrapper.

The Energon repaint set is nice but I don't like the redundant limbs or the fact that one is deluxe and the rest are scouts. That's ok for Bruticus or the Aerialbots, b/c that's true to their G1 counterparts, but Constructicon Max / Classics 1.0 Dev feels incomplete.

Funny, Hasbro put in a trademark request for 'Construction Devastator' instead of 'Constructicon Devastator'. Silly Hasbro and their trademarking of sound-alike names.

I hope these are both new molds for the 25th Anniversary line and not repaints or reissues of old figures. Question is, which Primal will they pay homage too? Original, Transmetal, Optimal, or Technorganic? And as Devastator, 6 Constructicons combine to form 1 giant robot. That's Devastator.

They said about 5 times in the Botcon Animated panel that there wasn't going to be any combiners in Animated so that rules that out.

I hate to say it, but I think you're looking at a repaint of one of the more modern Devastators.

what about transformers 2 devestator?
i think this would be the best, probily delux/voyger but how cool would a voger limbed, leader chest devestator be?!!

if not 25th could be good, would be much more G1 than movie2
classic 2/universe id rule out because of the classic repaint all ready out (i have this one)
and animated is out coz they said its out
