It’s so funny everyone wanting new and modern characters in this vote. It is the “Hall of Fame”. You don’t see a bunch of new boy bands in the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame. It’s for those who have paid their dues and been long running, quintessential, and lasting memories in all of our zeitgeists.

Given, Hauler is a funny joke inserted into all of this. I reckon they are seeding the notion of him actually getting a toy from Pulse.

If a show is 20-something years old does it even count as new and modern anymore? By this point, the Beast Era is ancient, old enough for its fans to have kids of their own, just slightly younger than the original '84 G1 crop. It would be like calling Pokémon 'new' just because its a younger Nintendo franchise than Mario and Zelda.

More importantly, Beast Wars already has characters in the Hall of Fame. If that wasn't true, I'd be more willing to shrug it off, but because of how often Beast Wars wins the ballot whenever they put it on there, I can't help but feel like Hasbro has decided that because they want to focus on "G1's 35th Anniversary" they removed anything that could oppose that idea

All except for Hot Shot, who, let's face it, was the Unicron Trilogy's breakout Autobot character as much as Sky-Byte was the breakout Predacon character of RiD 2001. ;)

(Even if he was just another Hot Rod/Cheetor/Wedge type of character)

Yeah, Hasbro is the boss of their own survey. It's clear that it's focused on the Siege line, and that's fine. Back at Botcon they did a good job letting the focus be on the actors and celebrities who were at the convention, and that's a proper nod. I like the way they are doing it with some forethought.

Fictional character would probably be Jetfire but only because I'd feel bad voting for the entirely fictional character (which in theory should win by default) of Slug. Slag be Slag otherwise its just berillium belogne.

Recon Refraktor would get my toy vote. Has the accessories it should have had in the first place so it doesnt need a '3rd pary' upgrade and a bonus kremzeek plus nice packaging.

I DO love the notion and toys for Hauler. I hope they do one for Earthrise as a Pulse exclusive.

I don't even own it (yet) but I voted Hot Shot because I'll support Unicron Trilogy stuff whenever possible.

Voted for Huffer, if only because he's proto-Rattrap and has no G1 styled new toys. Sucks the poll is so limited though, honestly was about to vote for Hauler too. Seems they really took to heart that whole "Don't put Beast Wars on the ballot if you don't want it to win" thing the wiki says.

(Still hoping for a single-year Generations toyline with the Season One Beast Wars cast plus Transmetal 2 Megatron and a good, four-moded screen accurate Optimal Optimus figure)

It is a shame that the Hall of Fame vote is so restricted this year, because from what I've seen Studio Series has been offering better figures in 2019. Use the 35th anniversary excuse all you like (personally I've always interpreted the anniversaries as a celebration of the entire Transformers IP, not just one area of it) but Hasbro are really wearing their G1 bias on their sleeves now.
Either way, I went with Laserbeak for character and Ironhide for toy (I wonder why Ratchet isn't on there?).

Honestly I would like to see every single Studio Series toy destroyed with a sledgehammer, I hate the designs of these pieces of **** in the movies and the original LAM toys were **** and the Studio Series is just a more expensive versions of **** looking toys.

No really? I had no idea that was my opinion.

Here is some more of my opinions:

I have never liked those designs in movies, toys, comics, video games, and so on. I also hate all of Bay directed live action movies as well, Bumblebee looks nice but it's too little too late and I can't stand Bumblebee so unless he gets blown up at the end I'll skip it.

I love Prime Wars Trilogy and Siege toys.

I love the IDW version 1.5 of the comics.

I don't give a damn about the current comics.

My favorite TV shows are Prime, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines.

I've yet to play a great The Transformers video game and the ones I have played are average to good.

If you or anyone else disagrees with my opinions: I DON'T CARE.

Went for Hauler and Hot Shot as the screw you right back" votes like some other people are doing.

I know everyone's already said it, but the bias being shown here is bordering on unprofessional. I mean, the cartoon part is one thing, but if you don't care about any toys other than Siege, why even make them?

Honestly, in hindsight, I feel so stupid for taking this biased vote seriously. :BANG_HEAD: I picked Jetfire for the character, (cuz he's my favorite) :michaelbay: and Titan Omega Supreme for the sheer amount of effort put into it. :APPLAUSE:

'Til all are one! :BH-PREDACON:
