Wait he played in Batman Beyond? Anyways the voice cast all sound fimliar! I don't have any problem with the cast I just have problem with the over all feel and structure if the series. The Decepticons are gonna take a back seat to the human villians? That doesn't sound right!But its gonna be a kids show. I just thought it could have a better more crisp and very detailed animation! I heared that they don't even Transform, they just spin around! And someone on this forum said that they don't even have weapons, well if thats true then of course they don't need weapons they're fightin humans! Maybe i'm wrong maybe this will be a hit but I don't see it! Its to kidde and less cool! It doesn't need to be hardcore just cool!

Well at least the VA cast doesn't suck. Let's hope the writing is good, and maybe this series will be tolerable.

I'm glad phil lamarr is doing jazz. He always struck me as a good candidate for him.

Style aside, it sounds like they are taking things back to basics. Especially with the voice actors in the same room it should make the show that much better.

Plus again it seems G1 returns, not that I'm complaining mind you

I read in another interview that Kaye got the part of Optimus because Chalk didn't want it.

Anyway, I'm very excited by the news of the characters and their VO actors! =) Granted, I still want to remain cautiously optimistic, cause I don't want to be too disappointed if this new series turns out to be unwatchable, but overall I feel very good about what I think we're going to get. This sounds very G1 to me.

What I'm hoping for is: G1 characters, well written stories like in BW, and just a little bit of RiD thrown in to give the `Bots something to do when they aren't fighting `Cons. We'll see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Eww WTF is Cree Summer in there for? Im suppose she has to be the voice of every black female character (even if it's in a name) she can bloody get her hands on. Summer has very little versatility. Give a young actress a chance instead. They would love that.

LaMarr is a great choice as Jazz.Would like to have seen him as movie Jazz too. Good to see Burton and Moshita back. Nice homage.Even the VA of Patrick in the cast is good. Im a Spongebob fan. Other than Summer the cast looks good.

PS please someone upload David Kaye singing Rubbie Duckie in the Megs voice. I need a new funny ringtone for the cell.

Okay, Weir Al as a Garbage Truck Transformer is a must see for me! Somehow, it just seems right in a strange and twisted way.

Oh, and I hope they make a cool toy version, so I can buy it. Never had a Garbage Truck Transformer since there never has been one. I bet that character takes a lot of crap.

Compare G1 to the toys, it looks just as abstract as Animated does. Think about a VA, they have ranges of voices if they are not named Sean Schammel, Eric Stuart or Dan Green.
