New timeslot for TF: Animated??
Well it looks like Cartoon Network does it again. According to their schedule, on their website, this weekend's episode of Animated, "Elite Guard" will be the last new episode as well as the last episode on Saturday/Sunday mornings (at least for the foreseeable future).
Starting Monday, April 14th Transformers Animated will start airing at 6:00am with "Home is where the Spark is". The schedule lists episodes at this timeslot until April 23rd. After that is anyones guess.

TV.com has the next new episode after Elite Guard, Return of the Headmaster, scheduled for the 26th which is a Saturday. That means we'll get 2 weeks of weekday re-runs until the 26, and then it will go back to Saturdays for the new episodes.

They're probably just replacing Transformers Cybertron, which had been running at 6 AM every weekday morning when I checked.

I hope YTV still has Animated on 11:00. I am going to have to buy a DVR if they change it too.

Re: New timeslot for TF: Animated??
As long as they'll go back to new episodes and return to the normal time slot after "Neture Calls" I'm fine with this.

I really hope that Animated goes back to Saturdays because the 6 a.m. time slot made me miss Energon

With CN, there is no hope. I am so sick of them screwing around with the few decent shows they have on the air.
And I thought I was extremely mad at them for showing Jurassic Park 3 and that Ben 10 live action show. Oh no, New reason to block that frickin channel.
But I am surprised that the show got dumped to 6am before the toys even had a chance to hit the stores. Wow, no low for Hasbro.

Folks. It's only the reruns that will be airing at that time. New Episodes (as someone else pointed out) will still air at 10:30AM on Saturday and 11:00AM on Sunday.

One of the reasons why I buy DVDs intead of watching cable / satellite TV. I ask the question, "Why be a slave to these companies when they pull all the strings and preform this 'hokey-pokey' with the timeslot?"
I have this small chip on my shoulder for this series. And I tried to hold back the negative comments I have about it since the show IS mainly for the kids.
Not that people won't watch something around 0600 military time. But even more questions, "Do these circus clowns at the top realize that they're going to kill the series?" "Based on a popular franchise?" "Or is it already considered dead?"
(Long silence here.)
None of what happened during the series had helped matters much:
Hasbro might need to release said Classiverse in the Summer as oppose to the Fall.

None of what happened during the series had helped matters much:
- The aim toward the young audience was to straight.
Why children? Why not teenagers (since some of them LOVE cars)?
Five Cybertronians on each side instead of 20+.
Not much spotlight on the Decepticons.
The breaking of "Rule #1: You Do NOT Mess With Old School."
Fans of the 80s TF ARE NOT DEAD YET.
AND the upcoming toys look like crap compared to the 2007 Movie and Classiverse toys.
Hasbro might need to release said Classiverse in the Summer as oppose to the Fall.

I figured it was something like that. The time shift is probably CN's alternative to an on-air break.
EDIT: ...or maybe Cartoon Network is trying to RUIN TRANSFORMERS FOREVER!!!

If it's being moved to 6:00...it's a terrible mistake.
It won't affect me, with two DVRs in use, but it will wreak havoc with those of you who can't find a solution other than to sit down and watch it.
I would love to know their thinking behind this. I just have to know why 6:00 in the friggin' morning is so important??

Again, its not being moved to 6 in the morning. Only the reruns for 2 weeks will be on weekdays at 6.
The new episodes. Starting With Headmaster returns, will air on Saturdays. Well according to TV.com

Re: New timeslot for TF: Animated??
Because they tried running code lyco at that time slot but that show sucked big time and so there looking to replace it with something that people will watch. Plus they have the whole ben ten thing happening next week and that is why the show is being interrupted just look to left on this page.

Re: New timeslot for TF: Animated??
6 AM?
But that means I get TF Animated at 3 AM!!!!
TF Animated is on at 10 or 11,
I've had to wake up at 7 to watch.
Now I gotta wake up at 3 AM on weekdays!
eh, they're reruns.
but arghhh!
why can't Cartoon Network just play shows that people like me like when we are awake!!!

Re: New timeslot for TF: Animated??
Meh.
Energon and Cybertron were both aired at 6am on Saturday for their one and only run through on Aussie TV, and I expect something similar for Animated too.
And those who complain about the time shift, thats what VCR's and DVD recorders were made for.

Re: New timeslot for TF: Animated??
6am and Transformers, why has it always been that way!?!
Granted Transformers is a consistant show, always having something to offer since G2 and BeastWars, but why 6am?
I mean realy, why not 7 or even 8:30, do we realy need 11 hours of My Gym Partner is a Monkey!?!
Come on Cartoon Network, be nice to Transformers, even with a 6am time slot it's still a powerhouse in sales, and hell, when KidsWB had it on at 3:30 it did great!
