I really wish we had some Soundwave artwork, or a colored prototype. I need to see his head in color. If it looks as wierd in color as it does uncolored, then,... meh

Yes he is Indeed awesome,
a little irrelevant to the topic though.

Although I wonder if they'll give Soundwave any flames on his alt mode?

If they do I hope they are silver-ish like with Night-Watch Optimus Prime.

Looks like Starscream gets to be all Seekers at once this time.
And the Joker.

This whole thing really seems okay.. I really miss the trademark angularity, though.

Liking it. Starscream needs some more meat on his forearms and Lugnutz doesn't look as good as the toy.

However overall, I am liking it.

Eh... I have mixed emotions about this line. I like most of the designs, but I hate that animation style with a passion. I will need to see better pictures of the toys before forming an opinion.

I can't wait for this cartoon to happen, still hate stupid dumb down cartoon style as much as bayformers, but I'm happy to see TF on T.V, again.

Could that be Skywarp? Is there going to be more than one Seekers in the Animated?

The look of it is starting to grow on me. I guess you have to see these things posed to really appreciate them. I'm still a hater though. I mean, the Decepticons actually look kinda cool, but they are upstaged by human supervillans (cringe)
If the humans played less of a role and the Decepticons played more of a role then this could have potential to be truly great. Unfortunately, the powers that be are still too arrogant to admit that they made a mistake with the humans in Armada, and so they make the same mistake over and over again.

I've been looking more and more at the toys for this line, and I still have to say unlike previous lines where I made sure to get at least 1 of every mold, this line will be severly knit-picked.

StarScream, BulkHead, Skinny Prime, SoundWave...

The only way I can see me getting these would be either on some type of buy one get one sale, super clearance, or maybe in a cheap ebay lot.

However, that's not to say that some of the others don't look intresting.

I just see alot of shelf warmers on the horizon, and can't help but wonder if the recent retail shortage is part of some grander scheme to get TF starved Fans and Kids to rush out and buy these to satiate TF cravings.

Damn I'm too excited about animated, why do they have to tell us about this stuff so far in advance?

I would have liked to be left in the dark till about a month before airing and/or release of the toys.

I don't remember seeing any pictures of a G1 colored version of TF: Animated Starscream, and can't find any despite my efforts.

Maybe there's only one Seeker in the Animated. That will make Starscream lonely. So he turns blue.

Who knows? This COULD be the official reason.

I distinctly recall seeing a G1-coloured AniSS at the BotCon...

Indeed it was. They also showed it at the SDCC when they played the clip from the new show.

Well, I can't find it. Perhaps you could provide a picture or link, because I must not be looking in the right place. :???:
