I hope the transformers celebrate the only holiday a good, god fearing american celebrates. That is of course the time honored tradition, of life day.

I for one am still picking up the Scioli/Barber take on our favourite two franchises, so this alt cover caught my eye with its fine detailing which reminds me of Geoff Darrow. Did Scioli draw this cover? :-?

Another thing I just looked at: Micronus Prime's artifact was the Chimera Stone, allowing him to powerlink to other transformers (minicons people). What if the Chimeracons are the minicons in IDW since the ammonites already took that title..... :BOT:

Farinas's Metroplex cover is stunning. It's Scioliesque (Which is in turn Kirbyesque), but with much clearer inks and colours. I might pick it up just for that cover. Shame the inside art is not as striking.

That is indeed an awesome Metroplex cover.

I'm excited for the descriptions that we've gotten. Quite interesting.

That cover of Metroplex actually looks like a city transformed into a giant robot. Love the detail.

I completely disagree about the style. IMO, it seems more akin to someone who's been influenced by graffiti murals and animated industrialized cityscapes, rather than either of those guys.

But it's a running joke in the comics how he keeps getting called a dog. Plus, maybe as a decepticon, he likes to chew the bones of others less fortunate ;) :BOT:

Well it fits right in with the style of Scioli's comic it's on the cover of, I think Scioliesque is fairly apt.

Okay, who reanimated Dr suess and got him a job at IDW?

Still I like it, it's cartoony, it looks fun and I doubt any of this is cannon. What with bumblebee doing a Jacob marley there ;)

Stole that thing straight from the Grinch I'd say

So I'm gonna say the Windblade part is Grinch based, and the other 2 will be based on some different Christmas stories, or maybe all 3 are Grinch-related. Either way, it is cool they are doing this. I'm loving the idea :BOT:

There's a unicorn with a cutie mark. A building with a face, and speaking of faces, Starscream is either the grinch or he's going to rape someone.

We need more issues like this. The art style is great.
