Afternoon all..

Ive had this on the workbench for a while now.. long story short its my first ever repaint.. being one of the battle begins two pack deluxe Megatron.

Originally i wanted to give his head the three spikes making his 'crown'.. but lacking anything other than an old scalpel, bad language and some hope.. this is the end result..

The only real modifications i have done are removing some detail from the head and extending the neck slightly.. which was not at all complicated..

so without further rambling..

Animated Galvatron..





once the paints cured completely ill take some pics of his new alt mode..

lemme know what you all think..

***UPDATE***

ok... i finally got round to taking pictures of Galvatron's vehicle mode.. heh..

think of it as an all terrain cybertronian tank.. originally id come up with it as an alt alt mode for Megatron.. but when i thought of repainting him as Galvatron it made more sense for him..

so.. without further a do..







getting it in to this tank mode requires no mods.. just a rearrangment of limbs more than anything.. anyway... be sure to lemme know what you think folks

thanks Omega Charge im still quite surprised with how well it turned out.. ill be updating with alt mode pics later today.. the paints cured, but i dozed off last night before i could take any heh..

to be honest i dont think ive seen any other Animated Galvatron customs yet.. wouldve thought it was an obvious choice..

lol.. you know.. i never even thought about that.. his butt being in the air i mean i know the alt mode might take a lil imagination.. but i cant say im a fan of the original one.. so this is an improvement to some degree i think..

Its really cool. I like it alot! But i just dont like that alt mode.
It kind looks like a bug thing. Sorry.

no need to be sorry Nevermore in all honesty im kinda in two minds about it myself.. but i hate the normal alt mode for that mold.. that, and it was the closest i could get to it being some kind of cannon/weapons platform/tank,..

Hi fellas, nice work on the G-tron. This might be a li'l off topic here, but I don't have cable right now, so has Galvatron actually showed up in the new animated show?

As of yet theres not been any mention or sign of Megatron becoming Galvatron in Animated.. nor has there been any mention of Galvatron being a seperate character.. though there might be every chance what with there being a couple of episodes left to air for season 3.. you never know!!

Personally I would be surprised if he was included.. it would be litterally at the last minute lol.

Swinging back to topic for a moment.. I did this custom after the Battle Begins 2-pack Megatron mold gave me a really strong Galvatron vibe.. that.. and the age old tradition of changing Megs' colours to denote an upgrade lol.

Very Nice! You're making me want to attack my Leader Class Ani Megatron now. Those colours really suit him. The alt modes kinda alright IMHO but I never really bother with them other than transforing them for 5 minutes, then changing them back to big nasty (or nice) robots to put on the shelves.

All of my figs are displayed in Robot Mode ..but I can hardly show a custom though without an alt mode huh? lol..

Thanks Bryon!.. only thing is this is the Deluxe Class Battle Begins 2-Pack Megatron ..there hasnt been a Leader Class of his Cybertronian form

Nice repaint This sure beat the original Animated Voyager Megatron anyday, especially the alt mode.

The TFA Voyager Megatron figure is lends itself to a Galvatron colour scheme very well.

Don't really love the original character, that's prob what caused the mess-up in me. Great repaint, hopefully to see more of your work.
