I like the Decepticon version, thank you very much, and I think I'll be sticking with it. Let's face it — the Decepticons always had cooler colors than the Autobots. Purple, black, gray, silver, slight touches of red.

It's hard to believe Seibertron had been around for seven years now. I've been a loyal fan from pretty much the beginning, even though I spent a good number of years lurking because I got burnt on the early message board drama. It's so awesome to see Ryan get so successful with his site to the point of winning awards and Hasbro officially recognizing him as a driving marketing force.

I still think this is the best site out of all of them, and that's what keeps me coming back. I'm not even subscribed to the other sites' forums.

Congratulations to Ryan and the Seibertron team and all the forum members who make the website shine.

Seven years is kickass. Congratulations on managing such a successful, awesome website, Ryan!

I have a simplified version of the homepage that I created last night to help those of you who aren't interested in all of the cool things on the homepage. It's basically just the subsection homepage ... for the homepage content.

For those of you who want the At-A-Glance page, please feel free to bookmark the above link. It'll be staying on the site because I don't have to do any work to maintain the above link. It just reuses the function that makes the section homepages display for the Comics, Events, Movie, People and Media sections of the website.

Here's some interesting stats from the past week to give you guys a better idea of why I made some of the decisions that I made with the site's design and structure. These stats are from the past week ... they're basically the same as the past 6 months. I make changes like I do after careful consideration of real, hard data that I have available to me about the people who visit the website. I also made some technical choices that will force some people to change or upgrade their browser if they want to keep visiting the site.

IE7 has been out for over a year, even longer if you count the Beta and Alpha versions which I used. Firefox is an incredible browser that's been out since the fall of 2004. The all-new Safari browser that's been ported over from Macs to PC at last works just fine for the most part as well. The best part is this ... they're all free to download and install. There's no reason that I should really be trying to make my website work with a browser, namely IE6, that has been available for almost 6 years. At some point, you've got to upgrade.

I am still looking for a PNG solution for IE6 but it's not at the top of my priority list.

i just have one complaint....and this might just be a problem with my settings or computer so you tech folk, feel free to lemme know..lol

but i never see the images in the "featured spotlight" section...its a small complaint but yeah everything else rocks

Which browser are you using? If you're on IE6, time to upgrade to IE7 or switch to Firefox or Safari.
