LEGO set 31102: Fire Dragon, was released early last year (2020) and to me, it's the definitive set for me to create a TF from , price-wise (I usually aim small to regular LEGO sets due to budget constraint). This is because most other regular LEGO sets did not contain as much ball joints for me to utilize.
My First Attempt: A 2-headed dragon TF
It's decent but the curved plates on the robot legs were prone to popping out when handled. And I ran out of ball joints to swivel the dragon hind legs.
My second Attempt: A Crocodile TF
This is a special request by a viewer to fulfil her son's wish. I think he just wanted a crocodile from the set and that's it. I go extra mile to make it transform into a robot. Skullcruncher, anyone?
My Latest attempt, as titled... Triple Changer !
Since my previous 2 attempts were beastformers, I'd thought of making a TF with a vehicle alt mode, and while I'm at it.... added in an extra mode too! I'm not really that good in naming stuff, so she's called Dragonica to pay homage to the lego set .
As a speedster mode, her speed is only second to Blurr !
And together with my other 2 fembots created from individual LEGO sets:
- Left bot was built using a LEGO Creator Shark set from year 2019 - middle bot (Arcee!) was built using LEGO Overwatch D.va and reindhart set
