Looks like it doesn't have the red stripes on the arms like the first US release. Guess I still have to track that one down

Maybe the price will collapse on it.

Seibertron.com member Primeultimus just dropped by to let us know that Toys R Us Masterpiece Grimlock's (marked MP-03) re-release has been spotted in store in the US. The photo, reported on Facebook Group Tokyo Toys, comes from a Toys R Us store in Dallas, Texas, priced at $59.99. Check out the photos below, revealing some differences in the figure compared to its first iteration!

This isn't just a rerelease you know. The grey is lighter, and the red lines on the arms are gone.

I just hope lots of overexited scalpers will buy the thing en masse and flood the secondary market with it. Then, the price will be at an all time low and anybody in the world will be able to afford one. Not just some lucky Americans.

Yeah, it uses the deco layout of the original Takara MP-8 version, but with a lighter shade of gray plastic.

Called tru at about 10:30 but a scalper cleaned them out first thing in the morning. Dont mind someone getting two however. Its the people getting 4 and over that is a bit frustrating

Already had a guy on the other forum I frequent admit to buying all the ones his local tru had, total of 6 grimlocks. And we know what he's doing with them since he's a big seller.

I'm sorry for being so sour in every single North-America MP Release threads. As long that the "NO MP FOR U" policy for Quebec is going on, and the scalpers screw everyone else, I'll take these announcements grimly.

he had ten, and was trying to sell them on that sites buy sell trade forum. his page got closed pretty fast which is awesome.
