Man if only there was like one with a smirking face how they did with Thundercracker or just an extra stripe of paint or something on another to distinguish them into three characters.

Getting just 3 Refraktors is nothing compared what some people have done when it comes to army building. Personally, I'm getting 3 just for the camera mode, as my dad was a photographer.

I'm likely just getting the one refraktor and see how the figure size compares/if it's too big for my liking at deluxe size.

I'm thinking thrilling 30 springer could be retooled into cybertron megs and the copter mode could be a nod to animated with two rotors. Not sure if the size would work out or if it would need to be enlarged and it wouldn't fit leader figures just being voyagers with extra kibble/armor for the most part.

With regards to Bumblebee in Siege, I doubt it, remember Siege ends in December.

That said, I completely expect to see Bee in the next part of the War for Cybertron trilogy. Though I think at SDCC maybe when we learn what the second part is called :-?

That's not a dick move - a dick move is buying something and returning it with something different, that's a dick move. What you describe? That's survival in the collector jungle my friend.

I had my Shockwave hidden for a week in a kiddie car up on the rack. It's not the holiday, so it's pretty safe. I do feel weird doing it, but hey, if you don't have the money right then, you're not stealing it. Just reserving it for a future purchase.

What I can't stand is when somebody returns a figure and it's a different figure than the one the box says, or it's like two series ago and you know they just exchanged them for the new hotness. That's lame.

Latebrus-K wrote:Anyone else feel like they're going to re-release these characters either with less battle damage, less greebling, or more earthly alt-forms every couple of years, just so we all buy them again? At the very least, I foresee more redecoes like Special Edition Prime and Megs. Things like a red-eyed Soundwave, maybe a Shockwave with trans-purple hands and a brighter general hue. But there will always be *something* keeping them from being "perfect" like RtS Jazz was. Even masterpiece isn't immune to this with all the + edition redecoes.

It depend where they want to go after the War for Cybertron trilogy. These aren't completely whacked out Cybertronian modes (I've called them retro-futuristic, as in what the '80 imagined futuristic vehicles would look like) and the robot modes are spot on to the cartoon models or as much as they can be for a non-masterpiece. Some of these figures do look like an Earth-based retool is possible (Voyager Prime and Megatron) while others don't really seem like they got the right engineer (Siege Seekers).

If the next trilogy is earth-based I could see it but I also think it has a heavy risk of misfiring on Hasbro/Takara. Sure, every line has an Optimus Prime (and most have at least one of these: Megatron, Starscream or Bumblebee) but if all they do is release an '80 toon-pandering Voyager or Leader Optimus its going to be diminishing return. They can totally retool Siege Voyager Optimus with an Earth Mode and market it as THE DEFINITIVE CHUG OPTIMUS...but then what? Its more financially sound to do something different, like homaging/remake other Optimus design such as Powermaster or Laser Rod (as they did in Titans Return) ro do an Optimus who fit the line gimmick (CW and POTP Optimus). What I mean is the 'trick' is one who will have heavily diminishing returns.

Honestly given that Siege is smaller than CW/TR (and that smaller lines are the base now) there is a good chance there might be juuuust enough early G1 guys for the next trilogy.

Any hope for bumblebee or other cybertronians, like Kup or Arcee maybe? I really like this line, it's awesome! Maybe the Dinobots too...will be cool!

I'm keeping all the candidates from the last fan vote in the back of my head. We have a new Omega Supreme a new Hound - I'm silently pining for a new Arcee (that doesn't share the Chromia mold), a Deathsaurus, and after we got Overlord finally, I would love to see Hasbro have a go at a leader Star Saber...and like good guy Victory Saber not wackadoo religious zealot IDW Saber...brrr, that guy was creepy.

Kup and the Dinobots though, man, we had them so recently as much as I'd love to see them through the Siege prism I think it'll be a while. A Kup where I don't have to paint the forearms would be rad.

A new Arcee will be great...but no like Chromia...PLEASE...I HATE this molds....we get Ultra Magnus, Spinger for now...so really hope to have a new and better Arcee. Maybe not into Siege but into this line...I really like these models and after loooooong time back me to buy again Transformers. I'm an old fan, have like the 1st convoy in blue. But for long time I don't buy them because simply don't like the models. But Siege line really impress me and get me back. So I hope to get all TF I like most. Liek Dinobots and characters like Blurr ( I knwo he is into power of the prime...I search him, but I don't like so much) - So I really hope WAR FOR CYBERTRON giive us great models like the Siege Line! It's a rylogy right? So all the 3 Acts will have the same idea (robots styles and gimmick) If I undersand right?

My Pteraxadon, Aimless, and wave 2 Micros came in. My Aimless is really loose and kinda boring. Pteraxadon is fantastic and will probably end up with Prowl.

Laserbeak is cool, but Ravage is a bit dinky. Red Heat is ok.

But Stakeout, that is my boy!! I was really looking forward to him, and he is not disappointing! Love him

I finally found Red Heat and Stakeout on Monday and got Laserbeak and Ravage from Hasbro Pulse today. I'm pretty much right there with you on all of them. Siege ravage is like if TR Ravage and TR Howlback had a kitten. WAY too tiny.

Yeah, Ravage is pretty weak. but I'm super happy with Laserbeak, so that set isn't a total disappointment.

Oh shoot I was tooling around on line I think I may have seen it over on TFW2005? It linked through a Facebook account alas I don't have Facebook so I looked for the image.

Hey...is it ok that I did that? I'm newer to posting but a long time fan of the site I totally don't want to dent any bumpers know what I mean?

Just let me know, and if it is ok and I see any postings elsewhere in the future is it ok to do so again?

In Package Image of Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy SIEGE Micromasters Powertrain & Highjump

Fellow Seibertronians, I have a fun bit of news to pass along! Forum member 00stargrave00 alerted us to an in-package image from the "In Demand Toys" Facebook page of the Wave 4 Transformers: War for Cybertron - SIEGE Micromasters Off Road Patrol, featuring modern versions of Autobots Powertrain and Highjump! Powertrain is an orange and blue truck cab while Highjump is a gunmetal gray and red armored car. Presumably, like most other Micromaster parings in the SIEGE line, these two will be able to combine into a makeshift weapon of some sort for other figures in the line to wield in battle and are also likely compatible with the special effects weapons parts from some of the Battle Master figures in the line as well. Take a look at what might be the capstone regular retail Micromaster patrol for the Transformers: SIEGE line of 2019 below!

Image

How have you been enjoying the modern Micromasters in the SIEGE line so far? Will you be adding Powertrain and Highjump to your collections? Let us know in the comments that follow, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

Or use an online retailer.

Hiding toys is low. They’re toys. If you can’t afford it then than it’s not meant to be. hiding toys just kinda puts a bad taste in my mouth especially if it’s adults doing it.

When I was a kid I wanted those Gundam Wing model kits that were popular in the late 90s toysrus sold. I asked a dude working at toysrus if they had them and he said “those things are so cool and we just got a case in the back!” I asked if he can go get them. He said they’re in the back because he’s going to buy them when he gets off” that dude was in his 30s. I was 13.

Been hesitant about the SIEGE micromasters, mostly waiting for discounts and the like, but the more they make, the more tempting the ones out now somehow become...
Rushing in where Hasbro fears to tread (for now)...

i'm still trying to decide where I come down on the Siege Micromasters. I had them as a kid, sure. But...I don't know. So far, I've skipped them. Thoughts?

They’re fine. That’s all I got. I have them all and they’re certainly micromasters. I too had so many as a kid and I will be honest and say I don’t know any of their names except Stakeout because Wreckers and now laserbeak and ravage since they’re in that sub group now
