HasTak did a great job with the more recent Legends-class Brawn, Bumblebee, Windcharger, Beachcomber, and Seaspray -- I think Huffer & Gears could be just a matter of time.
Oh, no doubt, the more recent Minibots are nearly perfect updates of their G1 models, but that's because the push for G1 accuracy has been much more recent than Thrilling 30. I can see being disappointed with Huffer and especially Pipes (totally wrong head), but Swerve is pretty spot on to his G1 self, despite that not being a priority with T30, when he was released. Again, the natural G1 link between Gears and Swerve helps me give T30 Gears a pass when I'd otherwise be scruntizing him a lot harder, as you are. My priority right now, though, is getting the rest of the 1987 Minibots out there. Then we can clean up the few who need a redo, like Huffer/Pipes and Gears. If they're gonna redo Gears, though, they'll need to redo Swerve too, unless they use the same vehicle shell from T30 and swap in some new robot mode parts, like a better torso, head, and maybe even some newly sculpted legs.
