Just walked into Walmart. Found a Blaster randomly on the shelf. Ran a price check. $21! Sold!

(And I do hope that the POTP Windcharger shelves a lot too, this head is unforgivable)

Myself, I have pretty much everything. Still on the hunt for Ramhorn and the Cloudraker/Wingspan 2 Pack.

Because it was a brand anniversary year (and headed by the previous brand team).o.supreme wrote:I mean T30 had a little bit of everything,

I mean T30 had a little bit of everything, but I have a feeling that whatever comes after PotP will focus on later lines, and I'm ok with that, I will have gotten mostly what I wanted between Hasbro and hopefully if TT pulls through and releases whatever Hasbro doesn't.

The one to miss is Nightbeat . Unconvicing vehicule in both modes, crappy plastic, crappy colors.
Takara version seems better, but Hasbro's is an easy pass.

wow...so much hate . Anyway...I don't think any TR figure has really shelf warmed, at least from what I can see. And I saw 8 Broadsides in a single store at one time, which I had never seen before, I thought for sure that would shelf warm, but nope...
and since when is something looking the way it's supposed to look unforgivable?? Not everything can be styled and extreeeeeme!!! like IDW.
As much as I criticize Hasbro, they seem to know what they are doing. Generations toys appeal to fans like myself. I'm not sure what the appeal of Movie Line or RiD15 toys are, but apparently Hasbro does because they make tons of them, and apparently they sell. I don't know what the appeal of non-transforming $20 action figures with 2 points of articulation are either, but apparently somebody is buying them

I just hope. But I'm afraid not. When you see that in POTP they're releasing a new Windcharger (yes, can't leave this one alone), a new inferno and a new Jazz, who all three already got better versions sooner in the generations line.. you can have doubts.

I admit. sorry
I think after 10 years of Generations, I grow a little bit tired of G1. I'm missing original designs. I'm missing all Car robots, Armada, Energon Cybertron and even Bw stuff. It's been 10 years we're eating G1. It's even longer than G1 was.
I can survive with lines like TR which gave us characters never remade until now (like Chromedome, hardead, krok etc) so it feels like new characters. But when going on characters like Windcharger, who is getting its 3rd version for any other reason than sticking even more to the old badly drawn cartoon, yes, I start to feel a bit tired.

I mean, given the latter saw some use in the comics and these do technically sort of count as 'G1' to some extent we might see some stuff like the Turbomasters, given that Thunder Clash seems to have become a fan-favorite lately. Personally I'd love to, at least, see a Star Saber and Deathsaurus in PotP later waves. Star Saber being workable as a 'leader evolution figure' which could double as a Thunderwing retool. Given the Pretenders being done (to some minor extent) in PotP and the fact leader-class figures come with a Matrix, Star Saber being pretooled into Thunderwing seems perfectly plausible.
