oooh i dont know about that megatron.

i was looking forward to him after i saw the youtube vid of him triggerhappy doublecross and co came out a while back but the finished product just doesnt look great to me.

the insistance of making him a triple changer seems to have hurt the figure to me. even though it makes sense to essentially give us to two modes he's got since he couldnt be a gun anymore.



i agree wit those that it screams blitzwing/flywheels.

and with us already getting a flywheels head my money is on him getting the remold treatment first before they pump out a blitzwing one.

maybe itll look better in hand, till then i think i may just stick with the CW megs.

on an aside i hope this means we get a proper body for grimlock down the road to stick clobber in. failing that a retool of trypticon for him might be fun !

After Sky Master is whatever they're doing with Victorion and that will more than likely be the end of Transformers Unite. Who knows maybe they will do Liokaiser too but I doubt it.

They're definitely going to do the beast combiners after titans return

We don't know why we're getting after Titans Returns. Just like we didn't know Combiners were happening after Dark Cybertron and headmasters after Combiner Wars.

They all but confirmed that they were doing them at botcon. Someone asked why they didn't include them in combiner wars and they said they wanted to take the time to do them right and then they threw it back at the fans and asked if we would like to see more combiners after titans return.

They also said years ago they were looking for ways to get the final animated figures out in the market. Yup didn't happen. Difference between that is those toys were made and god knows where those toys are now. Just because someone at botcon said they'd like to make beast combines doesn't set it's set in stone. A lot of stuff gets said at panels but it doesn't mean it will be a reality

We will get Abominus and Predaking at some point. Hasbro is well aware of the fan demand for them, particularly Predaking, which they have discussed in their interview with me at NYCC 2016. There are plenty of remold opportunities if you think about it. Couldn't Wolfwire be remolded into a combiner wars compatible Predacon Rampage? CHEETOR?!?! Blot into Skalor? What about Divebomb into Swoop? Or even better, Seacon Seawing? Or how about Cutthroat? Headstrong into Slag/Slug? RHINOX!?!? Lots of opportunities. Just have to get creative.

It... kinda sorta does? I see where you're coming from; but it has a different feel to me. Something tougher.
Bizarrely the jet mode gives me a feel of Animated Megatron. Don't ask me why I have no clue where that's coming from when that's a helicopter in a completely different style. Maybe it's the shade of grey and the red detailing? idk.

I'm really hoping for the flywheels treatment. The MTMTE Scavengers are pretty much all later toys such as Flywheels and I'd like to actually get the crew of them together. and besides, we got botcon Battletrap, it's flywheels turn

We need a close-up shot of that Sixshot image!

Anyway, Megs looks awesome. Gnaw looks awesome. Bumblebee looks epic. I hope Bee gets turned into Cliffjumper! (I wonder if Bee has a Titanmaster cockpit...)

Yeah, we need a Flywheels body. Hasbro gave us the only part of Flywheels that isn't still intact.

Bee probably does have the Titan Master part since all the legends guys are supposed to be compatible with them. Now we really need a Spike, that would be awesome for those 2.

Also, I don't want Cliffjumper from these guys, I want Throttlebots. I'll take all 6 please

I paused for a moment to think about that too. So Gen Blitzwing needs to be repainted as Megs, and this mold needs to be repainted into Blitzwing and Starscream for the circle to be complete.

There WAS a rumor, unsure how strong, that Hasbro was planning to do Predaking. I beleive that came from a friend of a friend of a designer, but it cxame through one of the Pipelines that has so far had a relevant batting average on these things. At the time, the standing notion was that Preds would fill in a Boxset position the way Devvy did, negating the need for repaint fodder. Which also points to a much later release date, given we already have two of the Titan spots plugged: Fort Max and Trypticon.

That being said, I fully respect that we also have no concrete proof outside of He Said that He Said, and history is full of Hasbro concepts and Good Intentions that simply didn't have room to be fulfilled.

I'm still not holding out that were definitely getting them. We get promised a lot of stuff and certain stuff even gets leaked that doesn't happen. All those alternate heads in instructions that never get made, people always asking for MPs that Takara makes and ask Hasbro and they say "yeah we'd like to release those" and people instantly take that as a confirmation. Honestly as I've said before, I'm happy with what we've got so far. I have 9 combiners right now. That's enough in my opinion.

I remember a Brawn and Gnaw listing for Thrilling 30 that never happened, so here he is. And what if the Titan master's ride him right in front of the dorsel fin or something?

Gnaw looks amazing. Megatron...is pretty iffy though!

It's on display, you know how bad those can be sometimes. They look like the hinges will go over and lock in
