Also, who is that green repaint of Groove?
That is a repaint of the RiD Windblade. and the green Groove is Rust Dust, the chest piece to Victorion

Is that a Voyager size Windblade?

I'd be tempted to get that set just because of Sentinel's faction symbol but since he seems translucent I think I won't. Reprolabels'll always come around anyway :p
It's funny he has his own faction symbol now. I was just thinking the other week about how Sentinel Prime, at least this one, is being marketed as a heroic autobot leader to kids and they'll be getting him thinking "woah, an Optimus Prime that's orange and turns into a spaceship!" sort of deal. When we know the horrible, horrible things he's done. Oh IDW~

Thanks for the eagle eye, Emerje! Good lookin' out.
A great touch - shame it can't save hasbro's 'deco'

At the Hasbro panel, they said the deco for Windblade in the SDCC set is meant to be Fort Max colors.

Well, that's... interesting. I wonder why on earth they're doing that

She was initially linked with Metroplex, right? In this take on the character she could be linked with Fort Max instead and thus would have different colours showing her new "colours".

Except that this isn't a Platinum set, it's the SDCC exclusive set.Kurona wrote:william-james88 wrote:Kurona wrote:DigitalBrave3 wrote:Kurona wrote:Didn't take long for them to use the new Windblade mold lol. Since all the Platinum sets are supposed to be recreating prominent scenes - or in the case of Autobot Heroes, bundling together characters that were in a team together - I am starting to think this is a hint at an upcoming IDW Titans Return crossover. And so far this has all the makings of 'what the ****', what with Sentinel back, Windblade linking up with Fort Max and then joining with Brainstorm from the Lost Light. I don't know how to feel about it. Just as long as Hasbro doesn't mess IDW's story up as bad as Combiner Wars...

They had some really fun displays and the sculpting is amazing. There are lots of play options and this is going be a real fun line to pick up and tinker with. I'm even excited by the little single head packs, they'll be the cheap and easy minicon buys of this line.
Fun stuffs
Well let me get the "duh of course I'm getting them guys" out of the way.william-james88 wrote:Well then we can have some hands on perspective on this stuff. From what you saw, can you let us know which figures excite you the most? Is Apeface also a must have for you?

carytheone wrote:Ah Will, so I see. Speaking of Titan Master shenanigans. Have you seen that some alt modes support multiple TMs?
Like Hardhead for example. One TM drives and the other rides shotgun, quite literally.
The weapons is always ready for a hop-on in either mode so technically yes, but why wouldn't he have his weapon.william-james88 wrote:carytheone wrote:Ah Will, so I see. Speaking of Titan Master shenanigans. Have you seen that some alt modes support multiple TMs?

Same with Alpha Trion in spaceship mode. By attaching the weapon, you can have one riding indie and have another in the clear yellow cockpit. Does Hardhead need to attach the weapon to have multiple TMs?
